Not saying I'd have signed the guy I thought he sucked then and he most likely still sucks now
The point is he isn't getting that shot because his skin color
It's his history with the coach
Are you saying coaches throughout the NFL only give second chances too their former white players? Or perhaps they just give guys they have worked with in the past opportunities?
It doesnt erase the fact, that he was a bust and after 10 yrs gets an "opportunity" to compete.

Reading through the various tweets on Andrew Freeman's twitter feed, it sounds like the defense continues to make a lot of plays.

Ogletree continues to be mentioned as a guy making plays - PBUs and a sack today to go along with his ints on other days. He seems to be playing his way onto the roster.

Vildor is another one that often gets mentioned.

So man, Pace potentially had a hell of a 5th round last year with Mooney, Vildor, and Trevis Gibson if Gibson can make some strides as well.

Some off topic NYJ dick ripping news.

Thud goes Wilson
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- After three months of buildup, New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson made his debut Saturday night at MetLifie Stadium. It was a dud.

In the annual Green & White practice before a crowd of nearly 20,000, Wilson, the No. 2 overall draft pick, threw two interceptions and led the starting offense to only three points in seven possessions.

Facing the first-team defense, the Jets' presumptive starter completed 11 of 24 passes for 112 yards in the two-hour session. There was no live tackling, but it was a simulated game.

"The biggest learning jump for him was that it was under the lights, there was a bigger crowd," coach Robert Saleh said. "It wasn't necessarily a bigger moment, because you want them all to be the same, but I'm sure the young man wanted to do his absolute best. There are a lot of things he can take from this one, and it will be awesome to see him grow from it."

The Wilson-led offense generated only one first down in its first four possessions. On the fifth series, he was sacked by defensive end John Franklin-Myers and was intercepted by nickel back Javelin Guidry on the next play. Wilson misfired on a seam route to wide receiver Jamison Crowder.
NYJ are going to regret not taking Fields over Wilson.

...against a severely depleted o-line.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Tim Tebow is getting a chance at TE after 10 years out of the league
That's not white privilege. That's he knows the coach who feels sorry for him, dumbass.

Nepotism is a much worse problem in the NFL and the good old boy Network rather than any form of alleged privilege.

Everyone in the NFL is paid millions of dollars just about so you could argue regardless of race, they are all "privileged".

Really I hate the whole idea of this privilege argument because it's just used as a method to attack people just because of their race.

Which is the opposite of what the group who often uses it claims to be about...
