Just thinking roster spots on defense right now.

Assumptions: 25 spots for defense
Defensive line: 5-6 players
Linebackers 7-9 players
DBs: 8-10 players

So, my guess at linebacker would be:

Roquan, Quinn, Mack, Attaochu, Gibson, Trevathan are likely locks either due to contract, draft status, or play

Then you would likely be picking 2-3 from Ogletree, Woods, Iyiegbuniwe, and Christian Jones.

Considering how much DB's get used and some of the injury concerns there, if you go 9 linebackers, that likely means only 5 defensive lineman.

This can’t be true because I heard on here that Herbert is better.

Honestly, it sounds like the Bears have a good runningback group with Montgomery, Williams, and Herbert. I just hope that means we never see Nall again in a regular season game.

Artavis Pierce is another guy, but I think he struggles to make the team. Probably not fair considering the line in front of him, but his name was mentioned several times today as getting blown up running or tossed to the side when trying to block the 1st team defense.

WR Rodney Adams was a 5th round selection by the Vikings. He hasn't played since 2017. Judging by how often his name is coming up in camp, he's been busting his butt to get back in the league.

I hope to see him in preseason.

Anyone else get the vibe that Wilson is one of those suburban white boys that never had to face real adversity in life?

And was handed everything but still has an attitude about his privilege cause he thinks he earned it and has no idea what real struggle in life looks like?

That's almost certainly not fair, but still the vibe I get
You mean like him?

We're in "flinging shit to a wall" phase with o-line.

Cervenka initially redshirted as a defensive tackle in 2015, and he switched over to offensive line in 2016. He was Clemson’s backup center the following year before switching yet again to guard in 2018, when he became the team’s starter at the position. He was a second-team All-ACC selection his final year with the Tigers in 2019.

Cervenka had the highest PlayStation Player Impact Ranking in all of college football at the start of the 2019 season, per ESPN, and analyst Dan Orlovsky said this about him that year:

“When Cervenka was on the field, Clemson was twice as efficient moving the ball than when he was off. … With Clemson down 16-7 at halftime against Syracuse, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence out with an injury, Dabo Swinney inserted then-backup Cervenka into the offensive line for the rest of the game. Clemson would come back to win, with Cervenka leading the way for running back Travis Etienne.”

The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Cervenka never looked back.
Kind of sounds like a better version of Coward. Hopefully much much better. Anyway he sounds like the type of player you want on your PS but if you are relying on him to play meaningful snaps in a real game shit has probably hit the fan.

Part of me is in disbelief over fields because what's happening to the Jets is usually what happens to the Bears.

Still so glad we ended up with fields
I have been around a long time and Fields is the most physically talented Bears QB I have ever seen. That being said you are right about the many, many Bears mistakes at that position. For example it would have been very Bear like to take Mac Jones over Justin Fields.

The Jets taking Wilson over Fields is the Jets simply being the Jets. Like the Bears in the past they have done this before.

Do we have any players who flat out refuse to get the vaccine?
