All right 670 The score provided clarity on the John shoop thing. Apparently John shoop was the coach that got Ben Johnson into coaching and that was the reason for the shout out. I guess shoop was a college coach at the time and brought Ben onto his staff. So this was more the shouting out of the guy who got him into the business than a reflection of offensive scheme philosophies.
If that's the case I can let that one go

All in all, for once the Bears won a press conference.

Ultimately may mean nothing but could be a positive indicator of the future. Color me shocked.

Those reporters keep trying to find something.... anything... to back up their narrative that our front office/Halas Hall is a mess. Yet Ben keeps saying it was the front office/Halas Hall that sealed the deal --- namely McCaskey, Warren and Poles.

Our media sucks. They get tunnel vision, make the wrong call, then become d*cks trying to save face.

Honestly?

I also saw this as a way of showing that Ben Johnson is ultimately the one in charge.

Ben was constantly talking about how Warren, Poles, and George were going to work with HIM, rather than the dumbass collaboration bullshit we've gotten ever since ditka was fired.

I think this was about sending a message. And I think the message sent will raise some eyebrows in the most positive way in terms of attracting free agents and higher quality coaches for the coaching staff.

Sheeit, Morpheus is as bad-ass of a movie character as there ever was. I tried dressing as Gandalf once and people just thought I was homeless.

Late-90s Lawrence Fishburn was a bad mofo. Side note, Lawrence Fishburn's first movie appearance was as an extra in the late 70s basketball flick Fast Break.
This shit made me laugh

John Shoop being mentioned, that don't bother me at all . Shoop when started here was learning on the job, and it was bad..

What a difference between Eberflus and Ben Johnson first presser. You can tell who is genuine and who bs artist..

There's a part of me wondering if Caleb, Rome, Cole, and DJ weren't just there for support but to immediately jump on the new coach and say let's get this party started in terms of designing a new playbook. 🤣
