Nope most CCS were saying the Eberflus was blah. People here complaining about the SHIT principle as the talk of a conman. Eberflus was such an uninspiring pick. Most people were hesitant and pessimistic about him.
True but many were all in on Nagy.

Obviously his IQ is off the charts. Perfect 36 on ACT. But what was impressive was his firm stance on the top priorities: Discipline, hardwork, respect, and accountability. We already know he'll be working around the clock. Curious to see which players can hang.

Ok so largest media market not Largest NFL franchise

Got it

What are you getting at? This should be the largest NFL franchise because they have the largest market. I think Warren is opening their eyes to this fact. That’s all I’m trying to say.

There were a couple of things that need to be taken note of...

First - He didn't have any notes or paper to read his opening statement. His thoughts were very articulate, clear and concise with meaning.

Second - Every one of his answers to questions were purposeful and accurately to the point with no hesitation

Indicates is he has a high IQ and gets his thinking across at a high level. Can't fake that...A very understandable and good trait to have when coaching/teaching.

Also he seems very personable and relates actions to adapt with the situation. Hopefully this translates to the a team function and gets this thing turned around.

Pretty impressed so far

I'm a believer in Ben Johnson. He's the guy I wanted.

But there's absolutely nothing that's going to be said today that is going to indicate whether it'll work out or not.

But there are things that indicate that it MIGHT. Obviously nothing is 100% certain. But you can't tell me when Eberflus or Trestman or some of these othr dud coaches the Bears have hired haven't gone up to the podium and the second they start speaking you didn't think "Oh shit, here we go again..."

Winning press conferences means nothing
I get your point but it's the only thing we can win for another 9 months. Just take time to celebrate a small victory there's been plenty of misery. The Bears did this part right.

The rest will come in time.
