Man how did any of you guys survive baseball seasons prior to this? We aren't even through a week and people want guys DFA'd and Theo fired...

My only guess would be they weren't expecting this team to play as bad as they have so far. But honestly, they have had a chance to win all four games they've played so far.

I was going to say that so far this team has exceeded expectations by really having a chance to be 4-0 right now. Tonight is the first night that really this team has been blown out, and it is still early. Cubs-Brewers always seem to be crazy.

I dont know how you guys can stomach this crap. I just watched the only 10 minutes of Cubs baseball Ive seen this year and Im done already. Thank God for the Bulls and Hawks...they'll at least eat up some of the time before the Bears get started again.

After 50 years of following and watching bad baseball, I finally had enough and bailed after the 2003 disaster. Nothing has changed...nothing will ever change. They can keep bringing in all the "saviours" they want and it wont make a difference. Over 100 years without being in the World Series....you guys gotta be nuts.

We will take you. 11.1 miles south

Ha!! I actually was a Sox fan for the playoffs in 2005...only because there's no way I could pull for a team that wasnt from Chicago. I actually pulled for the Dodgers in 1959 and always regretted that...got a chance to right a wrong.

Cubs are so impatient that they don't want to take a walk after 4 balls...

But even if that was NOT the case.....50 years is long enough to "Die Hard".

lol...decent movie

I can get where you're coming from. I don't even wanna think about facing 50 years of Cubs frustration just yet.

BTW, dunno if this has been covered in another thread, but what the hell is wrong with Soto's swing this year? Is it just me or are his hands and lower body acting independently of each other? His moving his hands before his lower body is in a power position it looks like.
