Yes but he left the Colts. He didn’t stay with them.
The Colts couldn't hold onto him. Can't fire a dude who just got cancer.

The overall premise of the thread is this - which head coaches have been unearthed while being the interim HC.

A good head coach does this - they make the most of the situation that they're in and they find ways to win games. Brown is speaking like a person who will do precisely that, we'll see Sunday if it's real or a mirage.

I disagree. Between Flus, a defensive HC and Poles preaching Trenches 1st it's obvious that the HC was the one in charge and it failed.
Can you name the GM of the Lions, Vikings or Rams? I can't. The HC on those teams have GMs that get players the HC wants for the HC's system. I don't think the Bears ever had an 'identity' under Eberflus....Poles never really had a plan as to how to construct the team per Eberflus' guidelines IMO. I never got the feeling that Eberflus was the one in charge. Perhaps thats just part of Eberflus, but really the only recent Bears coach who I felt was in charge of the organization was Lovie.

The rest of the quote addresses that.

I don't fully understand it but I think Flus' identity was obviously DBs so other teams can't pass. Coverage blitz so it takes less on the lines to get the QB.
It just wasn't realized because Flus sucks and other teams believe in having protection for their QBs.
