I for one am not. Everytime the man hits a jumper, a piece of me is going to die inside. I don't think that I am emotionally ready yet to see Ben Gordon drop 50 on us. Hopefully he is still injured and does not play.

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully Chicago gives him a big ovation even in street clothes. Management and BG conducted business and the fans were hurt by it.

im on the fence about how i feel on this. basically i want him to shoot the lights out but would much rather have a bulls victory above all else.

and i really hope the fans pay him his due respect. any booing of this guy is unacceptable imo

No. Gordon's going to get booed, and Neil Funk is going to attack him all game long.

Hell yeah I'm looking forward to his return, and you can throw Wallace in the mix as well. I think the motivation of both Pistons players should make for almost a playoff atmosphere. BG will be trying to go for 50, Wallace will try to block everything that comes his way, and the other Pistons players will feed off the motivation of BG and Wallace. I just hope the Bulls players are ready to play more than just another regular season game.

bulls are gonna be hungry. 6 games on the road, dropped 5 straight, losing a heartbreaker in milwaukee, they (should) have fire in their bellies for this game.

When Ben Gordon returns to Chicago and he takes the floor once again the fans should roll out the red carpet for him. Before the game I think there needs to be a brief, but genuine apology issued to him from Richard M. Daley for the way this city treated him all those years and then he should be presented with the keys to the city of Chicago.

When you take time out to grab the mic like that and apologize to him in front of everyone i think Gordon would be deeply moved by the gesture.

And then everyone should find a nice, cozy seat and watch Gordon score 35 and lead his new team to victory.

I don't think he gets booed, thats going a bit far but I can see Funk making dumb comments.

Okay...Okay....

I want you to read this out loud to yourself...

You think the mayor should apologize.........to Ben Gordon

How did the city treat Ben Gordon? You cannot be serious!

Innocent children in Chicago are getting killed every day and you want the Mayor to come to the United Center to apologize to a decent player who is not an allstar?

You are definitely high my friend...

The thing I'm looking forward to about his return is that the Pistons are a team we should actually be able to beat ... the BG part I don't really give a crap about.

I'm completely sober. Have you been smoking, sir? :0)

Am i the only one who thinks Chicago did Ben Gordon wrong and was always down on him for no justifiable reason?

I was not aware about the incident with the children. What's the story? That's terrible and I'm sorry to hear that.

After Daley deals with that, if he has time, his next order of business should be to apologize to Ben Gordon. Yeah...i mean he can't be busier than Obama and Obama's sitting courtside, he's going on with Regis and Letterman...he's everywhere. He's busy but he's got the time.

Public apology. The Mayor had nothing to do with it but if he did it that just seems like the classy way to go about doing that.

If not from the Mayor then the suits need to come down from the suites and take the mic. John Paxson...Gar...Reinsdorf...they need to apologize to his face. In front of everyone.

Maybe Paxson and Reinsdorf could sing a duet for him...

Something needs to be done because BG gave us nothing but his heart and soul out there every night and we threw him out the door in the freezing rain and that ain't right.

Ben Gordon's a lot better than your boy Johnny Salmons by the way.

Man...you shouldn't be poking the bear like this. The next episode of RWTB might just have to be a conference call.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Ah Ben Gordon...he's probably going to go off on us if he plays. Just to stick it to the Bulls as if to say "this is what you could have had." But the Bulls better beat the Pistons in whatever way possible. Ben Gordon can get his for all I care, but the Bulls need to come out with the win.

The Chicago sports media are the only people in Chicago who did Ben Gordon wrong. Fans can think what they want, but it was the Chicago Sports media who did not portray the truth in their writing, announcing, etc.
