Ben had 5 great seasons with us and helped us get to the playoffs 4 out of those 5 years, including 1 second round year.
While I would like a video montage I don't think its necessary. It would be different if he was here say 8-10 years.
But I know some of you will think I'm sick and not a Bulls fan, but I almost want BG and the Pistons to win in Chicago, just to prove to Reinsdorf and other people in the office, media and the fans (such as HouHeffna) that Ben was a great piece worth keeping and hopefully it will wake Reinsdorf and others up so this (letting a great player leave, for nothing) never EVER happens again
You can argue all you want that we weren't going to win a championship with him, but the fact is Ben would be a great piece to have on a championship team. If we had dumped Kirk's contract at All Star break last season and resigned Ben, we would have 1 player who has the potential to be great (Rose), a great outside shooter and scorer (Gordon), a great all round small forward who can shoot a long mid range shot (Deng), a very good young center who rebounds, blocks and gives you double double almost every night (Noah) and a decent guard/forward (Salmons). All we would need then is that one piece (Bosh, Amare) and we would be title contending.
Now we have a team that can't score from the outside and a good (not great) defender who can't shoot (Hinrich).
So in a way I hope Ben just rubs it in to the doubters and they win, just in hope that Reinsdorf and others learn there lesson
The Chicago sports media are the only people in Chicago who did Ben Gordon wrong. Fans can think what they want, but it was the Chicago Sports media who did not portray the truth in their writing, announcing, etc.

5 great seasons...great? If you call that great, there was this guy named Jordan! OH MY GOD!!! Just kidding....he had no great seasons, that's the point.
A video montage would be unnecessary. As it should be for any of those players on those teams. There was one good team and a whole lot of mediocrity...nothing to celebrate there.
There is no "in a way"...you either want the Bulls to win or to lose...
He was our leading scorer for 5 seasons. I'll call that great. I'll call all those clutch shots great. I'm not saying he was Lebron but he was our best player and would've been a great 3rd option behind Rose and a star. Certainly better than the guy we decided to keep instead (Kirk).

Ok call it great, you are entitled...
The next midget I see, I'll call him "Lanky"
You don't have to be Lebron James to be great.
