Mario Edwards was a sneaky good signing by Pace. Edwards-Goldman-Nichols is not a bad front 3.

Quinn and Trevathan’s contracts piss me off the most I think.

And I get trying to load up on offensive weapons, but Golladay AND Robinson? I really hope they package a trade of ARob for a very good CB opposite Johnson, and manage to sign Golladay to pair with Mooney.. Slot WR in the draft.

Yeah, it is a bad year to be a free agent WR. It looks like Bears offer is just about right for the market.
Yeah, it's laughable to think someone would give up draft capital for Allen Robinson AND have to account for his one year, fully guaranteed $17.8MM contract. Juju cost $8M. Personally I think Robinson is better, but Juju is young (23).

I'm curious to see what Golladay ends up getting. My bet it it's comparable to Juju. Robinson was smart to sign the franchise while it was still offered. I wouldn't put it past Pace to sign Golladay to a $10-12M/year type deal then dump Robinson in this market like he did Fuller.

Rondale moore should be that slot receiver.

Does anyone think the Bears might potentially target Eric Fischer as a cheap LT option? He's got familiarity with Nagy and would provide a large upgrade from Leno when he's ready

He's not going to play in 2021 most likely, Achilles.

That was my assumption too, then I saw some report he'd be ready in Sept. That seemed extremely aggressive to me.

I'm interested in okung, brown Jr, and Fischer to replace Leno though

Quinn can at least redeem himself, if healthy

I obviously hope he does, but not holding my breath. That much money tied up in the same position never made sense to me.
Broncos did that in 2015 and it worked out for them

Eh, maybe I’m biased because I was not too big a fan of the Quinn signing in the first place. Judon, while he won’t blow you away with high sack totals, would have been the perfect compliment to Mack if they had waited a year. Cheaper too

Problem is, Quinn had a medical condition that scared away the Raiders and the Bears put him in a scheme that he usually struggled with.
