Thornton pretty much told the Press that Doug Wilson needs to shut the **** up about the whole "Captaincy" issues going on.

Not surprised by the mess this has become for the Sharks. Can't just pull the C from someone who has had it for some time, keep them around, and expect harmony.

Regardless, I think this might become a good popcorn eating spectacle.

Undoubtedly. Although you can't blame the Sharks for getting caught up in Smith-O-Mania. Their subsequent, knee-jerk reaction of naming Ben Smith as their captain was fully expected on my part. It was only a matter of time.

Regardless, I think this might become a good popcorn eating spectacle.

It already has!

Oh, fo sho!

Say, do they take jaw-lines into account when deciding the recipient of the Messier award, or is it just based on the "virtues" of leadership :)puke:)? Cause Ben Smith has one helluva jaw-line.

He's no Moose though...

Jaw line is a must. As is the ability to snort coke off of a Vancouvers hookers ass. Now I am not positive about Bens visits to Vancouver but I heard from an reliable source (sharp) that he knows his way around Hastings and Main. So all sounds good.

The wife is at the Wolves/Hogs game right now. Spotted Seabs there watching his little brother play.

Edit: Seabs sat right near her with his wife and McSplash sat on the other side with two people she didn't recognize.
Nice seats it seems.
Hopefully she comes home with pics or a good story (maybe she called McSplash the Grinch).

Where'd I lose everyone?

That's pretty cool! Did she bother coming home without pics or a story?

Who's this "McSplash" character to whom you refer?

I had one final question, but it's escaped me at the moment.

ETA: Your wife goes to hockey games by herself? Sounds like a keeper!

Does she have a sister?

She got pics, but the only story was that it was a great game and Raanta rudely blew off signing autographs for kids. She brought my nephew with her and went with a large group outing.
There is a sister but she's *** and married.

The Raanta stories are a LIE!!! Well I wouldn't imagine even the cheerful guy is feeling great after a win when the game ends with the team scoring an empty net goal making it 4-1 yet the score finishes 4-3

Playing their way right out of good draft pick those idiots.

When they first started rolling I thought it was going to be a case of 'too little, too late' but since then they've gotten white-hot and are only a point behind Boston for WC2 in the East.

Correction: They just took over WC2 tonight after destroying the Sharks.

Why can't they get Al Macinnis to come out and "accidentally" shoot the puck at Pierre between the glass?
