Every pro sports league is in the middle ground spot of policing and punishment dolled out. People these past few years keep saying they can't be if they want to proclaim justice, but that's exactly what they are doing. They feel they have to because they still want to appease so many meatballs and old school thinking current players and coaches but only are verging on safety and proper punishment enough to where they feel legally safe.

Did you see Reaves crosscheck the Peg player to the head that game also? I mean **** come on I like violence as much as the next guy but the Blues tonight fucking went way over the line a few times. That Backes one didn't bother me as much as the Reaves one. But shit if Buff got games for his then Backes should get a couple also. Pretty close to the same incident. But man that Reaves one!! FUUUUCK.

I haven't seen a video of it, just a gif, but it actually looks like in that Reaves hit he's trying to move out of the way of Perrault who is trying to check him and catches his head with his hand/fist. Bit a doubt there over what was going on for me. But that Backes cross check, no doubt whatsoever. He can argue the first wasn't intentional, but that second one...yeah. **** that guy. One of the dirtiest players in the league, his talent just overshadows it a bit.

Well if Reaves was a young hockey player out there he would of known to keep his stick down by the ice. He's trying to avoid getting hit by initiating some force back on Perrault but he raises his hands and stick and gets him in the head by doing that. It's not a wise way to avoid a hit at all.

outside of the hawks/blues game the scoreboard watching games tonight are

Wild/Preds = obviously need the Preds to lose if the Hawks win

Kings/Flames = simply a must win for the Kings

Jets/Avs = If Kings win then this isnt a must win for the Jets but its still an important win

Redwings/Habs = Wings clinch with a win (**** the wings but I would rather see the Pens miss the playoffs)

Sens/Rangers = Rangers dont even have to skate tonight. Lucky Sens could get an easy 2 points which would be great if it means dropping the Pens.

Boston/Florida = Same shit..Go Bruins so the Pens don't make it
