If I were making the rules on this, I would say top 12 would be all of the below-

1. 12th ranked passer rating or better (with him having over 400 attempts and all others having over 400 attempts- that is 25 per game, 16 games, and it level the playing field. I think the "2 or more games missed" rule will kill the ban bet- it muddies the water. what if he fails to finish several games? What if other QBS fail to finish several games? 400+ pass attempts is a big enough body of work to judge a season IMO)

2. Top 12 in td-int ratio. (among qbs with 400+ attempts)

3. top 12 in completion percentage (among QBs with 400+ attempts)

4. a bare minimum requirement of a 2-1 td to int ratio.



Personally, I think the big issue on this ban bet is that the parameters seem too lose on both sides.

Because it is way to friggin subjective- that is broken down and factored play by play with really loose rules.

Cutler would benefit greatly from some of their parameters, but the fumbles would wreck him on that as well. seems way too loosy goosey.

Touché. But why would injuries factor in? That's fair for both of us. I wouldn't win if cutler is injured but won stats wise, vice versa.
