So, after 6 pages it seems like there's been 95% chirping and no real discussion on what/how to handle issues of people getting suspended/short banned. How would non-mods think the whole system should be handled? What suggestions do you have?
I like having sites self-police for the most part, but I also haven't seen the likes of CCS on any other board I have modded/administrated. It seems people take a very special effort to be idiotic and post some unreal content on the interwebs.

How are we supposed to self-police when every avenue to do so has been closed? Some whiny interwebz assholes actually cared enough about their rep bar for it to keep them somewhat in line. But heaven forbid one little ***** gets disliked, complains, and suddenly the whole system is defunct. Yeah, that makes tons of sense. The asshats that actually cared enough about the rep to complain about it are the ones that it had some effect on.
