Once the dislike system went the self policing went with it. But the e girls cared about rep, and now it is gone. I personally hope negs come back, so I can go back to being a dislike sniper

I've been on a few sites where people have really gone over the edge including giving out death threats, challenges to fights, outright racist claims, etc. This stuff is pretty tame compared to that. The problem of this site is that the very people in charge of controlling the traffic are out of control themselves some of the time and actually start shit with people or play silly games with them. I was obviously targeted by a mod or mods who didn't like WHAT I said about radical Muslims which was no more than what is on everyday in the news. Why? Then they outright lied to the guy in charge of this place.
I don't envy good people who try to referee anything like a sports site. They really cannot win when people are strongly arguing with each other. But I really haven't seen many examples of conversations here that have gotten out of control. People are sitting at home or wherever talking to each other on a web site which I pretty much liken to a sports bar. But you tell someone to **** off or that they are an idiot and you'd think that it was something horrible. No, it isn't. It is just conversation
I think personally that a lot of this should go to its logical conclusion and no one should be banned unless there are death threats, over-the-top insults such as bringing family into it, really vile insults, or outright racism and the like. And I also think that the more complicated you make any sort of banning system the more you open yourself up to people abusing it.
I have also seen people talk about having some sort of what I would call a rating system for posters as in "disliking" some one whose ideas that you don't like. That is fine with me even though that I know that a lot of people here do not like me or where I stand on issues and would likely lose a popularity contest. But it doesn't matter a bit to me if doing it makes some people here happy.
Bottom line....... I think that the mods and their boss really should lighten up and ignore what I think is merely conversation most of it silly in its nature. And mods themselves back off with the stupid games that they play amongst themselves and their ten cent power.

You make absolutely no sense. Before you were a mod, you went around beating the drum of free HHM, and fighting the oppression of over moderation. Then you get a little power due to begging like a dog forever to become a mod. Quite fascinating if you ask me. Why nobody here respects you. Hell at least silence has been the same in all the years I have been here matter of fact all the mods have been consistent, but you are fake. Probably the fakest poster on the Internet
