OT Jake Long (although I think Branden Albert will probably be the free agent offensive lineman to part ways with their 2012 team.)

Nice. Thanks.

NP Man. Thx for participating!

I'd love to get a influx of CCS user mock drafts right before the draft -- and put a scoring system up...and whoever scores the highest among mocks gets a "CCS Draft Guru" award or something. will have to talk to the higher-ups about it.

friggin' love the draft.

Ogletree in the 2nd would be a steal. He's a stud.

I don't pretend to watch a ton of college football, Ogletree looks awfully small for a linebacker. What's his future in the NFL? What position?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Ogeltree is a S converted to LB. I'm not sure exactly where to project him to, but he is an instinctive LB and athletic.

New Walterfootball 12/19
1st Round: 19th pick -- Alec Ogletree - ILB - Georgia
2nd Round: 48th pick -- D.J. Fluker - OT - Alabama

That'd be a slam dunk. Olgetree needs some time to refine his game and put on some mass for the NFL but his potential is through the roof and with some solid coaching he can be a star, and Fluker moves incredibly well for being a mountain of a RT. I like him at guard even more and think he has probowl potential there. You'll never go through him and he can use his athleticism inside, and I think we all know that we definitely need a good player inside as well as outside.

OLB seems like a natural fit with his athleticism but in the Bears current D he fits the profile of a Cover-2 MLB as well, then again that might be out the window next year so who really knows...

That's why I didn't want to project as it does depend on the scheme. He would be a natural replacement for Urlacher. He would need to bulk up some but could step in and get the job done.

I don't mean to troll, but:

#1 Center on my board: Matt Stankiewitch
safe_image.php

He may be projected as an undrafted free agent, but with a name like Stankiewitch, he's probably the best player in the draft.
There is no other way to pronounce that name than Stanky-Witch

You're welcome and that would be cool. I would be up for that.

how about we rather address the needs, like WR and o-line

Out of curiosity, do you view WR as a bigger need than OT/OG/OC, LB, Defensive Secondary?

I mean, I feel like i'm willingly running into a brick wall over and over, but who do you think we can get that will be an immediate playmaker @ WR?

DraftTek just showed off some ambitious laziness. They updated their mock, noted that the Bears have lost two straight games, moved them down 8 spots in both rounds......and still have the Bears taking the same players.

NFL Trade Rumors also changed their slot, but picked the same player.
