He said the Bears looked good and he left feeling much better about them, than he did last week when they were at practice.

The Bears have been pushed around, bullied and walked over way too long. It's about time they stood up to another team. Bears will need to play with an edge this season, glad they are practicing it.

Side note- patriots do everything the Chicago media has been complaining about. They hold early morning practice, and they restrict what the media is allowed to write or speak about. Win games and the complaining will stop I guess.

A concerning note on Bear Report from practices over the weekend (prior to departing for New England):
"-OLB Pernell McPhee was on the practice field the past two days doing light work with the trainers. He does not appear to be anywhere near returning to action."

If he's not practicing by this time next week, my guess is they're probably going to have to IR him.

Yeah the IR return thing is what I was thinking, though they no longer have to designate the player that's set to return, so it's just IR, where you can bring one player out.
