With the draft behind us and all the opinions swirling let's talk about our "hits" and "misses" in draft evaluation over the years.

What Bears draft pick(s) were you right about?

What Bears draft pick(s) were you wrong about?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
I pretty much have been right about everything draft related since I started paying attention in 1984.

I’m just going to do recent…

Right- AntMill (so far), Cohen, Jackson, Fuller, Goldman, Daniels, Whitehair

Wrong- SheaButter, Bostic, Langford, White

TBD- Trubisky (looks promising), Shaheen (looks like a DUD).

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Central Florida Knights
  2. TCU Horned Frogs
Players I knew would suck:
McNown - I wanted Culpepper.
Enis - I wanted Moss in the worst way but knew after he stood up Payton it wasn't happening.
Benson - I wanted anybody but him.

Picks I liked that didn't work:
Salaam
Terrell
Carimi
White
Spellman
Colombo

Picks I liked that worked out:
Harris
Marshall
Olsen
Fuller
Jeffery
Carrier
Anderson

I'm confused: How are you saying you're right on Miller, but it's TBD on Shaheen? Shaheen's been playing longer, and for all we know AntMill gets his leg chopped off cutting down wood and never plays again.

I have always recognized hugely successful college running backs that would be over-drafted and suck in the NFL and #calledit for Salaaaaaaaaam, Enis, and Benson, and they all had a similar profile: straight-ahead runners with little to no wiggle or ability to shake defenders over 185 lbs., and all recorded ridiculous stats running through gaping holes created by their dominant OLs.

As for QBs, I was a top fanboi for Cade McNown.........

Shaheen won't be on an NFL roster in a couple years, along with Kevin White..

Also @Novak #calledit on Turnstyle Kyle Long

Don't tell him I gave him any props though, because he's literally the worst.

I was right about the Bears drafting a RB in the 3rd round this year.

Everyone literally said I was crazy.

But it happened, and I was right and I was the only one.

Missed: Ego Ferguson, I thought he was going to be a solid player.

Right: Kyle Long, He was so athletic for his size that teaching him OL was the easy part.

Was the hard part teaching him how to lose muscle mass and gain belly size while sitting on his ass on the injury report for literally 3 years running?
