Between the ridiculous Cutler extension, Marshall, the Jared Allen signing, Lamar "ACL" Houston, and now Martellus....

Man....these Emery signings sure were great!

um...isn't that why it's called VOLUNTARY? am i missing something?

It's the work around to the rule. It's entirely up to you if you show or not, but just so you know there's a strong correltation with not showing and getting cut/traded...

Sorry Nick, but we didn't have an offense last year either. If someone makes a bad play this year I'll be able to say "who is that dumbfuck, where did he come from". Last year, I new who the dumbfuck was.

Only difference.

Dante fucking Rosario though ...

I think they are trying to ship guys out who are not seeing eye to eye with the new regime.

After last season I am cool with a cleanse.

So now can we ALL admit that we are rebuilding?...lol...

dammit, i like bennett. wth.

We all like Bennett, but when you're a team in rebuild mode you need to make moves to get younger and add draft picks. Bennett is one of the few pieces of value the Bears have to offer in trade. No one is untouchable, not even Alshon Jeffery or Kyle Long for the right price.

Is he on the roster? They can probably pick up that athletic freak who could run like the wind, but caught the ball like a 3 year old. His name escapes me, but we kept bringing him back to camp and even practice squad I believe:)

They aren't rebuilding, they are reloading...

But instead of replacing bullets with other bullets they are leaving the chamber empty or with a blank in it...

Yeah, reloading.....

Martellus Bennett has been productive and durable for #Bears and they don't have a lot on depth chart behind him. Not a good draft for TE.

Trading Marshall or Bennett now doesn't make their initial acquisitions bad moves. For all we now, losing them could end up being the bad move.

Which, is exactly why he might be more valuable right now as trade bait. If the draft is considered weak for TE's, a team may overpay for Bennett and the Bears can get good value. Especially since the TE might not be a major part of this offense, which is the wildcard.

Yep, TE will not be an asset in this offense...Julius Thomas didn't do shit under Gase.

I agree with the acquisition part. But I guess "not looking at the problems some people had in the past and could it be a problem for you in the future" is what I guess my point was, but I see what you're saying....

It just seems that nothing that Emery did has\is worked out. Literally nothing....
