If he takes the Raiders job, I have to think that they push to sign someone like Darnold as the bridge QB to whatever they try to do long term.

Won’t matter—They’ll lose at least 4-5 divisional games a year. They’ll have to be near-perfect outside of the division just to make the playoffs.

Unless they give him 10 years to lay groundwork to compete with an aging Mahomes & Herbert down the line, BJ ain’t lasting in Vegas. Taking a job in that division is a death sentence.

You’re right, but as a guy who has lived all over the country, Bears fans are one of the few fanbases who don’t just glizz over their team no matter what. It was inevitable. Either the Lions kept winning and Bears fans got tired of waiting for him to become available so he sucks or the Lions lose and then suddenly BJ sucks because they lost.
