I’d give up 1.20 and wouldn’t even hesitate. Stafford is a stud and we would get at least another solid five plus years of really good quarterback play. I’m just tired of a lifetime of crap QB play. Our history says we would miss on our first round pick anyway. I know that we do not have enough firepower to pull off a trade with Houston and I really don’t get excited about Jimmy G. I just want a QB once in my lifetime.

Would be odd to deal him to a division rival. Has that ever happened?

Stafford would be much better than what we currently have, but it would obviously depend on what you'd have to give up. He's not worth a 1st round pick.

Dispute what some may claim, Stafford would be a huge upgrade for the Bears. He's probably not a top 10 QB in the league but he's close. He's put up decent numbers on some pretty bad Detroit teams and played in 16 games 9 out of 10 seasons. With all the teams looking for a QB upgrade it will probably take a 1st round pick to get him.

I'd give a 1st for him. He'll be 33, probably has 3 years in him at this level. Maybe even more. He'd make us a legit playoff team with the current roster, not a SB contender but a playoff team. If the D bounces back then things could get interesting if you re-sign ARob.

Stafford is under contract for only two more years. You give up a bunch of draft capital which prevents filling in needed pieces and then he bolts for another option because he is tired of losing here to. Makes no sense.

Fuk this. Another old qb we will pay a shit ton for who can hopefully run nagys offense which blows. This team sucks. Is it weird to miss the trestman era?

I think if nobody else offers a better first it's worth it for the Bears to give up this year's first, if that's it. Keep the rest of the draft to help with oline and WR, and keep all of next year's when the D all needs to be replaced.

That's not a bad scenario. Then we also know if Nagys offense works with a real QB.

Stafford would instantly be The Bears best QB of the modern era (it’s fucking depressing how easy it is to say that about half the QBs in the league). If we got the defence back close to where it was under Vic we could definitely win with him.

Pats traded Drew Bledsoe to the Bills for a first.

Eagles traded McNabb to the Redskins.

Also, Jets traded Belichick to the Patriots for a first, fourth and seventh.

I’m thinking the Colts make the most sense here. Also think he goes for more than people think. 1st plus another pick or two.

McNabb was dealt to Washington from Philly.

Stafford would be the best Bears QB of my lifetime.

What would you be willing to give for him?

Stafford sucks when the game matters. He gets his stats in junk time against prevents which is most of the time.

Stafford becomes the best quarterback the bears have ever had. Bad or god those are facts.
