Sorry to break it to you man, but you far overestimate the talent on your team. Sure GB may have some decent fantasy football players, but as an individual player they aren't very impressive.

I've seen enough of Aaron Jones to know he is a slightly above average back. I could name multiple backs taken in the same draft or later that I would rather have on my team:

McCaffery
Kamara
Dalvin Cook
Nick Chubb
Chris Carson
Josh Jacobs
Joe Mixon

I would include Saquon Barkley if he could stay healthy

I'm going off of on field production/stats. If you disagree, then you are disagreeing with on field fact.

If those guys are better then Jones, why are his numbers safely better then all of those guys? Highest ypc in football since his draft, 2nd most TDs for a RB since his draft etc.?

You just declaring Aaron Jones to be 'slightly above average', doesn't change the fact that his numbers say he is arguably the best RB in football since coming into the league, between him and McCaffrey.

Because I repeatedly destroy Bears fans delusional rationalizations with on field statistics?

Thank you sir, glad my work here is appreciated.

You are going off what fits your narrative. Go around the leagues fanbases and see if any of them would do a straight out trade at runningback for Aaron Jones. You won't find as many takers as you think. I guarantee you none of the fanbases of the guys I listed would be interested in such a trade.

Jones is not really that good at anything. Not a burner. Doesn't offer a ton extra as a pass catcher. Doesn't create too much out of nothing. He basically just takes what the defense gives him and not too much more. His ceiling isn't much higher than his floor. His success, to me Is more about the scheme and the pieces around him. You can argue with stats, but not all parts are equal. Im telling you what I and I'm sure what many others see with their eyes.

And for real, you wouldn't trade Aaron Jones for any of those guys on that list?? LOL!!!

Weak excuse, Montgomery is just a run of the mill average RB that you can get anywhere in the draft. He would be the 4th string RB on the Packers.

If those guys had more sacks, pressures, and double teams then Mack for two seasons straight like Zadarius, I would agree they were better.

Mack costing more doesnt make him better lol.

Khalil Mack doesn’t play with the lead like the Packers pass rushers do for huge chunks of the season. When playing against the Packers, opposing offenses have to actually push the ball down the field to keep up with Aaron Rodgers. So the Packers defense simply has more time to get to the QB. Mack has to win immediately, or the ball is out of the QB’s hand. Also, Mike Pettine has a long track record of generating pressure.

I'm going off on field production. You aren't. That makes me right and you wrong. If you were right, the on field production would back you up, but instead, it contradicts you.

Ask Packers fans if they would trade Jones for any of those guys, you wont find any takers either.

Better yet, show people the numbers without naming names and ask which one they would choose. All of them would point to Jones starliner over the guys you listed.

Jones is a homerun threat who is constantly top 3 in 20+ and 40+ yard runs lol. Wtf are you talking about? Your literally just saying things that have no on field basis in reality.

Jones is a better pass catcher then nearly every bellow RB in football aside from McCaffrey, great blocker too.

Not really, Jones has great explosion and probably the best vision in football. This is why he is undeniably the best runner in football since entering the league, with the highes YPC over that timespan.

Jones was averaging 5.5 ypc before this scheme, with Brett Hundley at QB
Swing and miss buddy lol. Once again, just completely talking from your behind.

Idk why you would think his 'ceiling isnt much higher then his floor', but what the hell would that matter if his floor is the highest YPC in football, and 2nd most total RB tds, since entering the league?

Your brain is convincing your eyes too see what you want to believe, and you want to believe Jones isn't better then all of those guys and undeniably a top 2 RB in football, issue is, the on field production says he is, and the on field production also destroys your bad excuses, as I highlighted above.

Ok dude. Believe whatever you want to believe, but no one is taking you seriously telling them Aaron Jones is a top 2 RB in football. I might entertain a conversation in the top 10.(though I'd still have him out) But top 2?!? Thats a ridiculous take!!

No one cares about Aaron Jones fantasy stats. And even then, no one takes him seriously. Are teams really concerned about Aaron Jones when they play the Packers?? Not really. They know he will get yards by coincidence, but not do too much damage. He's not carrying the team on his back. If he scores and is raking in yards, its likely Rodgers and the rest of the offense are having a great day. Ask Jones to carry the burden many of these other runningbacks do and he would fail miserably.

You see, when teams play the Packers, they are concerned about Rodgers. Defenses scheme to stop Rodgers. And if that means leaving the run defense a little bit more available. Then so be it...

the stats are skewed...and they aren't even that good.

Let me post it again. Aaron Jones is not that good of a running back.

It's a ridiculous take to say that Jones is a top two RB, despite the fact that his on field production is undeniably top two? Um.... do you know how reality works?

Where did I appeal to fantasy stats lol. I appealed the official NFL stats, otherwise known as, what happens on field. I dont play fantasy football, nor do I care who the best fantasy RBs are, as that usually favors RBs with high volumes of carries over actual per rush production.

Everyone take Jones seriously, especially after last season. Just because Rodgers is there too doesnt somehow depreciate Jones as a threat lol.

Get yards by coincidence? Um... wtf does that even mean XD.

Not do to much damage? Except fir the highest ypc and 2nd most RB TDs since being drafted? That's not much damage?

Jones carried the burden last season, we had a higher rated running game then passing game, with Jones having 19 total TDs. He also carried the burden as the sole threat in 2017 with Brett Hundley at QB. He averaged 5.5 ypc during this time span.

So not only is your claim that he couldn't carry the load other RBs carry completely wrong and baseless, but its verifiably contradicted by both the 2019 and 2017 seasons.

Sure, this season they do that. They didnt do that last season when our running game vastly produced our passing game, nor did they do that with Brett Hundley at QB in 2017, when Jones was averaging 5.5 ypc as the offense's sole threat.

The stats arent skewed, as evidenced by Jones phenomenal production in 2017 with Hundley, and in 2019 when our run game was the main focus.

The absolute best YPC in football since being drafted, and 2nd most TDs for a RB since being drafted "Isnt even that good"? Um....

Let me post it again, Aaron Jones is undeniably a top 3 RB, and the on field production says this is undeniable. You claiming otherwise is not based on field production or actual reality, rather, you simply decided you dont want to believe he is as good as his phenomenal, league best stats since coming into the league say he is.

Once again, I just directly addressed and refuted each and every thing you said, in detail, with tangible on field reality, and all you can say is "No! The on field production is lying! He isnt actually that good because I dont want to believe that!"

Zadarius Smith plays more DE then OLB, and Kingsley Keke has more sacks then Nichols or RRH.

Lmfao what? Your mediocre RB had a 3.1 ypc against GB last time we played this season. You didn't do shit to us in the run or pass.
Typical Packers fan not knowing what they are watching (or did you even watch the game)? There's a reason the Bears had more first downs and a significant advantage in time of possession. It was there all day. YPC, in that case, is a prime example of the stat not telling the story.

As to your terrible DEs being anywhere near ours, LOL. Try watching your team play. Start this weekend. Watch your dline get absolutely demolished on the ground.

I would ignore him, he has some weird superiority complex and overrates his own players with his bias. You would take Aaron Jones over Derrick Henry, Kamara, Chubb, etc.

He's simply going off stats, so therefore every Packer is the best player in the league at their position. BTW, who the fuck is Kinsgley Keke? Nichols had more sacks, oh and an INT so he must be omega superior ON FIELD PRODUCTION? And RRH missed most of the season. No one even debates this, why do you give two fucks? It's some weird mental case with this guy. Enjoy your teams season, and quit boasting about dumb shit.

That loser has never watched a game before. He references numbers but has no clue of circumstances that enhance or deflate numbers. Him claiming they have a good dline and linebackers is laughable. They get steamrolled by anybody that commits to the run. I've never seen anyone overrate a bad group so much

@aaronitout coming here is the equivalent of me going to a Lions forum to argue about how much better the bears are. On top of that the Packers get plenty of love from the National media and have for the past couple of decades. Dude is one thirsty mofo for approval of his favorite team.

His approval rating here is poor. He should try somewhere else.

Right, he refuses to notice the one factor why his team is so great. Rodgers impacts literally everything. Playing with a lead = more sack opportunities, defense can play more relaxed. The running game works because no one wants Davante going nuts, I mean James Jones had 14 TDs one year and no one thought he was a top 40 WR. But alas, STATS!

End of the day, I'd love to see Montgomery and Jones switch spaces and I am willing to bet the production would be similar or shockingly in favor of Montgomery. But it's easy to boast when your team is so much better. But let's go to a Lions forum to make ourselves feel better about our team....? I'm not seeing the logic here.

Monty is decent but massively overrated on these forums.

Simple question: If Aaron Jones is truly one of the best two running backs in the league and an integral part of the offense, why have the Packers not extended his contract? He's a FA after this season.

Now stick with me here: Could it be, possibly, that the Packers know he isn't worth that kind of money. That - perhaps - it's the great work of the offensive line that leads to his cute numbers and having a HOF QB is what defenses truly scheme for?

Here's the truth: Jones is good. But not blue-chip good. Def not top 2. Lower top 10..possibly. The proof is in the money/contract.

I'm sure it is because Dillon and Williams are top 5 rbs in the league too
