Right, he isn't. He was supposed to be. he wanted to be. He was drafted to be. He was one coming out of college. But he wasn't good enough. Hence, he's a bench player and ST'er.

I'm not sure we will find any TE help via the draft. I just do not see Pace using a high round pick on a TE. Might have to see if any get cut after the draft.

There are a handful of TEs that went to tiny schools that will be late round picks. So they are relatively unknown projects with some upside. I bet we take a chance on one of them. Who knows, might get lucky.

When you can find a guy with better stats and measurables late in the draft, why use a high pick on one.

A later round draft on a TE is more likely and that is where I would look as well. There will be too many other good players when we come back up in the 2nd and maybe even the 3rd rd than to burn one on a TE.
