Looked great
As did Dexter to my pleasant surprise. He both got off the snap faster than I’ve seen last season and preseason, AND he was using his hands better than I’ve ever seen him do before.

Him pushing in the pocket, was a huge part of the D blanking the Titans in the 2nd half. I was starting to be out on him. I’m happy to have been wrong.

The Dline is no longer the weak link

Well, we can’t say that after one game. But yes, looking up for sure. Hope it stays that way.

2 sacks and a forced fumble in 1 game? He barely even needs to produce the rest of the season to make swapping a 6th for a 7th to get him worthwhile.

They gave a 6th. The swap was for the DT not him.

If he continues to trend this way the next couple weeks, lock this man up and extend him.

I’d have to agree. I don’t know much about the Titans o line and if they are good/bad but the d line looked real solid the majority of the game. Was happy with their results.

If Poles actually focuses on the o line next offseason then maybe we can start to compete. The Titans have a pretty damn good defense, I’ll give them credit. However, our current o line would never give the team a change to really compete.

Hmm.. but it was ok in the original post to label him a bum without putting on a Bears uniform?

Was literally coming here to propose (after thinking about it all night) that Poles trade for more bums. But @ZOMBIE@CTESPN beat me to it. ☹️
