He is a bum. No decent cost controlled edge in their prime gets dumped for a 6th if they are good.

He fills a glaring need for this Bears team which makes it a good trade for us.

Both things are true, it’s not that hard to understand.

"Us"? What number do you wear or what front office position do you hold for the Bears?

He doesn’t fit in their new defense from what I have read. That said they wisely shopped him and took what they could get. The Bears didn’t want to risk him getting picked up by someone else.

If he gives the Bears 5 sacks it’s not a bad trade. He is very cheap and controlled for 2 years as well which is a bonus as well.

He's not controlled for 2 years. He's a free agent after this season. Him needing a new deal is just a bigger reason that Seattle moved him after changing systems in the offseason

Knew you'd be in here! This is a guy I've liked since his Tennessee days, really has a great pass rush win rate and very bendy on the edge. Great pick up relative to cost.
the spin cycle is on full speed with this guy
