That kind of thinking is off base as well. If he signs Dahlman into the mix, the most important thing other than the OL upgrade is the fact that they don't have to draft any particular position. They can take the BPA. If they think that's Jeanty, fine....if it's an edge rusher, also fine. The #10 will have a ton of options....including trading it.

I’m thinking it’s not Dalman

@DefNextYear ball is in your court.
Simple as:

My point was equivalent to saying picking 10th overall and there aren’t any blue chips at 10 and you telling me that a 6th round pick could become an all pro. You butt in with another point entirely even though I offered to try to clarify my point and say you’re saying something else entirely. You ignore that finding those kinds of players are more difficult in the 6th round. I called them coin flip players. You admit they’re difficult to find and you’re incapable of doing it. I’m aware random players can pan out, but they’re likelihood of hitting drop from the top guys.

You also said Fries is an impact player who will cost 10 million for one year. I say
And to keep picking on [Fries] specifically, if he’s truly an impact player and costs only 14 million, the Colts will re-sign him. So, either he’s re-signed and another name off your list, or he’s not my definition of an impact guy.

Again, call whoever you want an impact player. I don’t agree with your list. It’s ok to disagree.

I also said the problem is 20+ teams can afford 10 million, which means you’re bidding with others on a talent pool that is diminishing. Since you posted the list, a couple of the names you had were taken off the list via tag or new contract, like I said would happen.

I quoted the Breer logic in the new topic cause it follows my logic. Teams need to be skeptical of guys in free agency cause teams have money to retain their talent.

You telling me that random dudes like Baun can be found does not meet my definition, but you refuse to accept my definition. So, I have chosen I’ll just be an asshole and chastise you instead.

@HeHateMe let me know if you willing to translate this into a coherent argument.

I think the Bears might trade for Erik McCoy from the Saints for a 3rd round pick. I think this is a quick Oline fix, and eventually draft replacements.

Looks like we’re winning 2 super bowls now. Everywhere he’s been he’s gotten 2 rings.
Yeah, but one or both of those may not count. Per the vortex in a different thread ... depending on a teams defense and the QB play ... some Super Bowls don't count.

No they count for the team, players and fans. They simply are discounted for purposes of GOAT discussions.

I looked at that and decided I need to go to an optometrist because I almost passed out.
If you pass out on the last line at your optometrist appointment and it looks blurry, you may have high blood pressure. This is a very serious exam and you should be well rested and hydrated prior.

Hmmm ... looks back to the first line of the post ....

Interesting ...
Not an ad hominem as I clearly explained in the sentence following why he was stupid by rebutting his argument. An ad hominem would be if I attacked him as a means to avoid addressing his argument. I addressed his argument quite clearly. So I merely insulted him.

Further, he responded to me in post 261. The post he responded to contained no insults. Yet he decided to insult me so I responded because I am a petty like that.

@DefNextYear

Don’t worry, @remydat is a renowned moron. He one time created his own grading system (probably spent a good bit of time on it btw) explaining how the bears had improved and then they finished dead last in the NFL. World class stuff.

He has several other completely idiotic takes like when he claimed he knew he was inside poles brane and how poles wasn’t drafting OL and then they drafted Darnell wright 😂🤣😂
