I really like the roster being assembled under Pace and Fox. I know it sounds cliché but I believe certain styles fit certain teams and they are building a Bear squad. Not to go full meatball so early in the day but I think our D will much improved and having the run game to lean on, Jay and the O have a good chance of being efficient while being deadly with Alshon & White on the outside. Barring injuries, I don't see less than 8 wins this year, with a real chance to go 10-6 and a playoff birth.

I think our defense will be in the top ten this year.

I think our offense will be in the 15-20 range.

6-10 at best. FOr a coach who supposedly wants to control the ball a lot, he doesn't have a good offensive ine nor quality running backs.

So we have an easier schedule.

Added about 4-5 starters on defense.

Added a ton of depth on the OL(granted its still not the best unit in the nfl)

Added a first round superstar potential Wideout

But we finish with the same record we did last year playing guys off the street, huh? Whatever you say boss

negativity is fine and dandy. They might still finish 6-10, but it won't be because of their talent which dude up above was getting at.

Might as well name every thread Cutler part 1, part 2 etc. Every thread is about him.

It's not saying anything that wasn't known. The front 7 got a massive upgrade and suddenly they have a few interchangeable pieces. The secondary was nowhere near bad either and they also got a little injection of talent as well. I could see a Top 13 defense

We'll be in the top half defensively and we absolutely have a good line and running game. I'll say top 12 on defense.

Your mom knows Grossman is garbage.

He might be garbage, but he's got memories Jay Cutler will never have.

The topic of this thread is whether or not the Bears will field a playoff-caliber defense in 2016. Would you care to make a comment relevant to the discussion, or just continue your incessant complaints about things that have nothing to do with the defense?

The defense will be better but there is still a lack of playmakers overall. The secondary finally has some youth but low on talent. The defensive line has some nice pieces but most players are rotational lineman with the exception of Goldman. The linebackers are the strength of the defense. Maybe Pace can work his magic and swing a trade for Wilkerson in June. Id say the Bears are a top 12 defense by the end of the year

Reading comprehension anyone?
