6-10 at best. FOr a coach who supposedly wants to control the ball a lot, he doesn't have a good offensive ine nor quality running backs.

The OP said nothing about the offensive line or the offense in general. By definition, you could have the worst offensive line in NFL history and still have a playoff level defense.

We've seen that. *Cough* 9 sacks in one half vs the Giants *cough*

He might be garbage, but he's got memories Jay Cutler will never have.

He also has one of the worst passer ratings for a few months

loved that NFC championship game. Grossman contributed nothing to that win though. that was all Thomas Jones and the defense that day.

he proceeded to pass drizzle shits all over the bedsheets in the super bowl in a game that was very winnable. carry on

You mean memories Jay Cutler would never want to have? Like being one of the worst ever starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl? Probably only slightly better than Peyton Manning's outing against the Seahawks.

Grossman came out of his NFC championship holding the Halas trophy. Cutler came out of his a national laughing stock.

I know which legacy I'd rather have.

They're both still losers.

They are still missing the blue chip type talent on defense so this article may be a little premature. ILB was upgraded tremendously and people should be excited granted Fangio miraculously got acceptable play out of Christian Jones and Shea McClellin who both stink. There are still questions at Safety/Corner/Defensive End. However the front 7 on paper looks better and a lot tougher. Hopefully Bullard pans out as he looks like a potential solid NFL player and is starting at the second DE spot sooner rather than later.
