We have to get The Haul. I mean after all, great QBs grow on trees and after the roster is fully built, we can just go get a great QB, or so I have been reading. We can live without good QB play for another 60 or so years.

Don't worry. We can trade up in the future with picks we get from the HAUL instead of just selecting the QB now

Hopefully this is settled by FA. This back and forth everyday will be annoying.
...just know that absolutely none of this chatter matters much until after the combine. Between now and then, anything can change or happen.

Isn't it lying season? Hasn't it already been established that Schefter is a turd? How many calories per day, Dan?

The haul is Caleb Williams. Magic Johnson can kick rocks.

You mean like the chiefs did?
who only traded up for mahomes because they failed to do it for paxton lynch the year prior

are you suggesting that the bears somehow end up with a mahomes like prospect doing this? because im sure the chances are very small

Either Caleb Williams is the savior or he is just a highly regarded prospect.

If Washington believes he is the savior they will trade whatever it takes.

If the Bears believe he is the savior, they will draft him.

And right now, CHI and Wash rules, NE drools

What the Panthers did has almost zero bearing on Washington status..

Its solely has to do with their value of Caleb Williams and what they would have to pay to get him.
You’d think that teams wouldn’t trade at all because teams get fucked all the time in trades

Why, in the wide world of sports, would the Bears even remotely talk about drafting Williams and keeping Fields...

That makes zero sense.

Because prospects fail sometimes and having 2 QBs increases the odds of success. Because you want CW to sit and learn for a year like Mahomes and other QBs did. There’s a definite logic there if you can work it with the players personalities…. which is the main argument against it.

Couldn't agree more.....KC did EXCATLY THAT!......They build a roster, became a playoff team and THEN traded up from 27th?, or close to that to 10th, I believe, to get Mahomes. How's that working out for KC? Inquiry minds want to know. BTW....who was head of College Scouting for KC when the trade for Mahomes went down? Inquiry minds want to know.......Of course there are different ways to build a SB team, there is no ONE Way, but I want a Haul 2.0. And draft a QB after the 1st Rd., unless da Bears end up w/ 3 - 1st Rders.
