In your opinion, what's the biggest, most painful loss that the Bulls have endured?

Game wise, for me, was losing that Game 5 to the Knicks in 94. I think the Bulls would have won Game 6 at home, and would have beat Indiana in the ECF. I think they would have lost to Houston in the Finals, but making the Finals without Jordan would have been such a big accomplishment. That loss bothers me to this day.

Players wise - The team not coming back in 99 was a big loss. I think they would have won the title in 99. A seventh title would have been nice considering they've only won 1 playoff series since 1998.

Bulls-vs-Magic; 1995 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntwR8ZGmLJg&feature=search]YouTube - Bulls vs. Magic 1995 game 6 (6/...)[/ame]

This was just a tough loss... giving up a big lead in the 4th quarter with 3:00 to go... not long after Jordan returned...

:smh: at Horace Grant at the end... bastard.

I remember screaming for a foul on the Luc Longley play.

That loss was pretty bad since they had a nice lead. Who knows what would of happened in a Game 7.

But it made the '96 sweep that much better.

It's definitely has to be when we traded Kirk Hinrich to Washington

Sorry, I'd rather have Brewer for half the price. He can run the break and I like his defense and size more.

I miss BG more. I think he is the third scorer we are really going to need to be a contender.

Kirk is more experienced, a better shooter, better defender

however he was/is more expensive but i'd rather have hinrich on my team

especially since he can play SG and PG

Losing game 7 to the MFin' celtics two years ago in the playoffs hurt...wanted Joakim Noah to stand over garnett and yell random nothings at him for payback.

Ronnie Brewer shoots over 10% better from the field for his career. I'd hardly call kirk the better shooter. The guy doesn't shoot 3's but at least he doesn't consistently chuck up 3-10 nights either. I also wouldn't call him a better defender at this point. Kirk fouls about twice as much and gets about half the steals per 36. I think Brewer is underrated. He is a tall and lanky defender that is pesky. Kirk was so frustrating to watch after 06/07. I am glad he is gone.

Ben Gordon. No Bull was ever let go in his prime who was as good as Ben.

Ben was sooo overrated.

bad defense, no passing...great shooter...

great shooter's shouldn't cost $12M/year...especially when that's all they do.

SO glad we didn't give him that contract.

If you think that Gordon was so bad at defense then you must think Hinrich was bad too. Hinrich allowed 1 point less per 100 possesions than Gordon last year

Nope - watched all of his play. He actually shot worse from 06-09/10 season...his 2nd season was his best shooting wise.
And he was always too short to guard a 2...but he didn't pass enough to be a 1...so our 1 had to guard a 2, every time.

I liked Ben, but there's no team stupid enough to give him $12M/Year outside of Detroit....I'm glad that includes us.
