I almost had a bizarre injury or death thread for you the other day, but someone out there must have been looking out for me or my dad. I had to take my dad somewhere and he asked if we could get gas for the mower and air for his mower tire since we were going to be out anyway. He put both in my trunk and shortly after I took him home there was this exploding sound. We didn't pay much attention cause there are always loud noises around. Later my dad went out to the garage to put his tire back on his mower and found that the tire had exploded and had been thrown clear across the garage. All I could think of is what would have happened if the tire had exploded in my trunk with the gas can in there. At the very least one or both of us would probably had a heart attack or maybe have been burnt to a crisp. Then later that day there was almost another explosion when my dad bought a new tire and found out he had to pay more to get it put on the rim than the tire itself cost.
Hun, I bet you like to watch movies like The Saw and Hostel.
Sounds like the tire was overfilled with air or had a weak spot. Saw A guy do that at the gas station about 15 years ago. I guess he didn't have a pressure gauge with him. Lucky for him he didn't get any serious injury, just some scrapes, bumps and bruises.
As for movies, actually not a fan of gore and violence just for the sake of gore and violence. I don't shy away from a film just because of gore or violence though, particularly when it is part of the story being told, like "Saving Private Ryan".
I think I just have a morbid sense of curiosity and a professional back ground that makes this interesting to me more than anything else.
No one else seems to post them so I'll probably stop doing it.
