The team is drafting a rookie QB next year. I just don't think it is smart to retain Eberflus. Not to mention it will be harder to hire an offensive coordinator with a coach going into a make/break season.

Agreed. Poles has the rare, assistant GM, so it's not like he doesn't already employ a team, more eyes on approach to personnel decisions.
