Don't see why we can't get Ladd and keep Shaw, too. If the Jets are going to lose Ladd, a prospect and a draft pick are better than nothing, though other teams may throw some good players at the Jets to get Ladd.

It's too bad that Bickell didn't live up to his 2013 and 2014 playoff self. Imagine that Bickell with Toews and Hossa, and Kane, Panarin and Anisimov.

Shit!

I don't know if the Hawks have enough prospects that Winnipeg would want to justify them giving up their captain, expiring deal or not.

Desjardins-Kruger-Dano

My current top Blackhawks twelve. I think Rockford productions and past 4 playoffs support this.

Of course we would move Bigfoot. I believe this lineup was not cap possible to start season, but we are gaining prorated dollars everyday Krugers dollars are not replaced and on the million for Bickell in Rockford. I am not ruling out we are preserving his body for another playoff run.

Bickell has been the biggest hitter in Stanley Cup Playoffs for four years.

I understand the era may be at a close. But I think it's too simplistic to say Bigfoot sucks and the team might not still view Dano and Bickell as top 12 call ups if they figured out how to slip them under the cap with the prorated dollars.

Ladd or Hartnell would be great. But you do the best you can with the hand you got sometimes. I don't think Panik or Sekac have shown they could do what Dano and Bigfoot are doing in Rockford.

In my mind Garbutt was not moved for Sekac. He was moved because he didn't finish the final 12 sculpture. Garbutt obviously makes us better right now today, moving him was therefore part of a larger plan or eliminating a locker room or ice chemistry issue. And Panik is an experiment. Danult has won a job for me, but I still consider two spots are open and three with Kruger out. So it's not crazy in my mind to look at your top two producers in Rockford, and think to myself they fit into our strongest 12.

I think we are an entire line short of NHL championship talent right now.

I can't wait to watch what Bowman does.

According to a couple of websites, Sekac was on RW next to Shaw/Toews this morning.

Edit: Now a correction. Sekac was in place of Shaw for just this morning. Looks like Shaw/Toews/Panik

The Hawks needed a forward to replace Hossa, and they didn't call up Dano. Think that says it all.

From the reports I saw on Twitter (Scott Powers being one of them saying this), Hinostroza was the best forward in Rockford.

He is not though. Looking at his movement skills and speed and toughness in fighting areas. Dano is better. I really smell a prorated dollars plan. All call ups will make the minimum until the plan is complete.

We will see the final roster when we see it.

The trust in Panik makes me think Q does not understand statistics. He can't sit through a player fermenting and gelling into a roll. He is always tinkering and going with the latest goal scorer.

Panik will be in his doghouse soon enough. Give him 2 games with Toews. Teuvo is in a slump so doghouse. Desjardins scores twice third liner. "Really upping his game." Panik gets two when he first arrives "try him on the first line."

The thing with Dano is he was dangerous. He was getting close and fighting near the edge. I loved that. You gotta let that ferment and he will break through. He is only missing some shooting skills, but the game is not too fast for him like McNeil.

I watch dangerous chances more, that is the same as a goal to me in hockey. Sometimes goalies are locked in. But Q seems to only see results.

Don't get me wrong, there are huge benefits. He keeps 12 guys on active fighting for roster spots, line up spots, or dollars. 7 guys are allowed to be complacent. But all guys you trust. It's the engine he drives with.

Dano is also just 21 years old with fewer than 50 NHL games under his belt. More time in the AHL isn't going to kill him.

I didn't mean my point on Hinostroza to come across as him being the best forward prospect. I was just pointing out that every report I read said he was playing better than any other forward on the Hogs. That's why Dano wasn't called up.

Panik/Sekac/Desi ... these guys all scream bottom 6 to me. But it's guys like Teuvo and Dano that could have the ability to fill in a Top 6 role, and one of them needs to do it real soon. I still think Dano's time is next year, though.

Funny about more time in the AHL... Dano is the YOUNGEST guy on the Hogs.

Most of their rookies for the AHL this year like Hino, Kero, Baun(who finally got his first professional point on an assist of a bickell goal) were college players being rookies now.

Hino was on a goal scoring pair and actually was playing well generally centering Bickell and Kero who would play wing.

Thank God Q could see the Svedtower was more valuable to this club than Scud missile. Please god somebody pick him up. Toronto needs him. Pittsburgh is paying some of his contract. This would be valuable dollars off the books if claimed.

:edit: I looked it up. 950,000 saved if Rockford. 1,250,000 saved if claimed so not a huge loss.

With 3,900,000 in cap, we could almost afford a stud LW like Patrick fucking Sharp. If you can belieber that.

Dallas trade was an abomination, as I said at the time.

Nah..,I'm gonna pop. I gotta walk away for a while. I sense the loss of a loved hawk is near. I mean set the franchise record for consecutive wins then blow the team up right?

And the Bulls are going to **** their own plan to stand pat to save 4.4 million in luxury tax, throw away talent too late or someone young just to shed cap at the mercy or other teams.

After I can Breathr again in March I'll be back for playoff push.

Cakes has been waived

nice assist yesterday. Probably the first player this year that does not clear waivers. I was hoping Sekac and Panik could hold that 4th line next year but I guess it doesn't matter and is easily replaceable.

Funny considering how some were gushing over his highlights. Was never really a fan of this trade. Garbutt could have been a useful piece to the 4th line down the stretch and he has actually looked pretty good for Anh, regained some of his old form.

We officially got nothing for Sharp and Johns now except cap space, which he's worth more than. Huge failure by Stan.

I'm not sure Sharp was worth a positive at his cap hit and age.

We didn't get anything, we actually paid Johns to remove 2,500,000
