Fully expect that 4th line to again be Desi-Kruger-Shaw after it was so good in last year's postseason.

According to Eric Lear - the Blackhawks and Kruger have agreed to a 3 year extension. No word on the aav yet though.

oh noes all the peoples were wrong and they get to high five all the peoples who said anything about the nhl.
It's odd the nhl investigation proclaims to have been open this long though.. man if only they investigated concussions like this or their own injury rules, since they could surely get a couple teams on false LTIR options if they investigated that Chris Pronger. Though the Hawks will probably end up using that very sketchy system with Hossa in a couple seasons.

Big bounce back game for the Blackhawks on Friday. Stars will be without Klingberg, Demers, and Jo Benn on their blueline. Blackhawks need to take advantage of a shorthanded Stars team.

You mean the supercharged Johns having greatest asset of all time unit, no thanks, they'll dominate and shutout the hawks. Both Neimi and Kari will be awarded a shutout it will be so brutal.

Not gonna lie, very intrigued by what Johns does at the NHL level. Just because a guy didn't immediately crack the roster of a new team doesn't mean he's going to be a bust. Perhaps it just took him some time to get acclimated to the system in Dallas.
The Hawks were incredibly high on him. I believe there were indications that, had Johns not been injured, he was going to get some playing time in the last postseason when Cumiskey/Rundblad were playing so horribly but the Hawks had no other options.
