They double his salary too? Jesus Christ why did the NHL have a lockout to begin with?

Not saying I agree, but with what they paid Montador, what other D-men are gatting, it wouldn't surprise me. And if Campoli continues to improve, could be a bargain, or if not, might be a bust.

Took a peek at the Buffalo boards - they think we way overpaid for a guy who didn't show up many games last season. Guess it's a perfect fit for the Hawks.

Thats my worry... I argued that earlier.

Then again, everyone is overpaying... My thinking is its also because the salary cap floor was also raised this year. Of course, Buffalo is nowhere near that.

Big deal they overpaid a guy by 500k to be an outstanding guy as the 5-6 dman... could be huge eating up extra minutes so duncs and seabs don't have to play half the game. Do you ever look at anything other than the surface?

We pay for all the overspending with our ticket increases each year.

Well...the league is bringing in more revenue so teams are spending more. And why are they bringing in more revenue? Ticket increases are part of that. Some of you need to learn some basic economic principles.

RK...you may need to take the Basic Economic course twice, because you really don't know shit about season ticket prices.

Sorry.

Any other season ticket holders better sign up now, the course will fill up soon.

When is finger painting with Fluff 101? I have to make sure those classes don't overlap.

You may need to go to Jr. College.

Back to sanity....how great does scooter's contracts to Seabrook (5.8) and Keith (5.51) look?

I mean...what's Weber and Doughty going to get? Markov - 5.75....Wiz 5.5..

I don't think any one expected contracts, and dollars to be like this. Holy ****. Wiz is making what Seabrook makes. Seabrook is TWICE the D man. Fucking insane. Weber may get Campbell money at this rate. If Wiz is 5.5 Weber is surely 8! haha

And I did the JR. College to save money on General Education courses.

They covered courses such as

The CBA, what it actually means.

Faceoffs, who takes them and why?

Jr's, what they are and why not to compare them to the AHL..

Much less expensive than the four year Hockey University.

Sure they look great in perspective now, but in relation to the time nothing changes. It's a different NHL environment now and just like we thought they were slightly overpaid then, just wait till 2 years down the road when we think wiz is going to be a steal at 5.5. Unfortunate trend.

What really has me scared is the though of trying to resign Sharp now. Wish they would have had it done already. The pay scale alone is going to bump him up.
