I know we all hate em. But the Blues are becoming my pick for the West unless Kane does come back. There is just nobody else I can pick other than a Healthy Kaned Hawks or the Blues. Sucks to have to pick em but I will if Kaner doesn't pop up.

Blues/Rangers final would be good..great if the Rangers beat em.

If we don't get Kane back first round, and we end up playing them. We're done probably 4-1 or 4-2. I still have issues with their goal tending. Jake Allen just doesn't cut it for me personally.

Craw could win a series on his own. Thats where all my faith lies if Kane isnt back or even if he is back but rusty. Allen isn't proven true..but that sometimes can be dangerous also. I don't think many teams know him that well which can be tricky. If Allen gets hot? Then the Blues have a great shot. This is a different Blues team than the last 2 years and even they aren't 100% healthy right now. I hate em to death but they have looked better than they have in the past. I actually think Allen is the better goalie they had last year in Miller and possibly previous years with Halak only because they sort of ruined Halak with his time there. Islanders have used Halak properly.

Him and Variable never pass up a loss to *****, usually about Bickell and #32, or line combos. Last year it was Handzus and Bollig. I wonder who it will be next year. The top teams consistently have cap issues, which results in having to settle for lesser talent. Seems easy enough to understand but I guess not. Can't always have top talent on all 4 lines and 3 pairings.

How about the lack of give a **** for the majority of the second half of this season? Obviously nothing is ever the fault of the coaches in your eyes, so these players must really be a bunch of lazy, useless, no-talent assholes. Right? Oh, they have multiple gold medals and Stanley Cups under their belt? You don't say....

Wake me up when you have even a remedial understanding of how hockey works...

You know what's sad? When a 7 year old points out the fact that the other team is outhustling the Hawks in most of the games they play.

"Why didn't he skate hard to that puck?"

"Why did he slow down going into the corner?"

"Why did he give up and not try and take that puck from him?"

These are questions my son asks when we're watching the Hawks. The same questions I'm asking. Yeah.

Poor effort and poor work ethic = poor results. This is not a reflection on coaching? Must be the only sport in the world where that is the case.

P.S. Go **** yourself you duster.

The next insightful comment you make in regards to hockey will be your first.

Pretty much. Disinterested hockey, for a long time now. Honestly, if not for Crow, the Hawks are probably fighting for a wildcard spot with the Jets...
