Frolik underpaid??

He was given plenty of chances to contribute more offensively

He's found his role as a 4th liner/PK guy that can play about 10-12min a game. Nothing wrong with that at all....but he's definitely not a 2mil+ dollar player

Good for him (and his agent) if he sees a contract like this again from the NHL

You are misunderstanding what I said. On Chicago, he is overpaid because he's a 4th line PKer, 10-12 min a night. Elsewhere, who knows... maybe that contract becomes a steal. He had two 20 goal seasons in a row before coming to the Blackhawks. He can PK, aggressive on the forecheck, versatile/can fit anywhere in the lineup in a pinch, and I'm sure he'll have no problem fitting in on the top three lines in Winnipeg. If he can find his finishing ability and net 12-15 goals while PKing for them, the contract is well worth it.

The potential is there for him to produce, but he obviously couldn't find it in Chicago for whatever reason. Luckily for him, he rounded out his game enough to stick in the NHL, even though he wasn't producing, he can still be effective in other areas of the game. It's a good addition for the Jets, low risk ($$), more reward (offensive production).

Like I said, when Stan gave him that contract, he was probably thinking along the same lines... but for whatever reason Frolik just couldn't find any finishing ability (until the playoffs) during his tenure here.
