Struck out as well. Guess I'll have to use the ticketexchange. What can you do
Poke around on Stubhub a bit. I got 4 to the Buffalo game - way up at the top but only $37 each. There's a few other pickins' out there if you look around. Once the season starts those will go up.

What are the fees like on Stubhub compared to the list price?
It varies but they are the #1 site for secondary sales so you get the biggest selection of tickets. There's always someone that thinks they're ticket is worth thousands, and a few who just want to sell and breakeven, and everyone else is in between. Prices go up and down with the play of the team I've found. Prices for spring games now are at their best point. Once we get to February you'll see a huge increase as demand goes way up at that point. Right now everyone is thinking of football and baseball so hockey tickets have less demand. Best to navigate the waters now for what you're interested in and try to pick up a few games. Stubhub charges buyers a 10% commissions of the total price plus e-delivery fee of $4.95. Ticketexchange charges buyers 15% commission plus a reticket issue fee of $2.95. Both are fine sites for buying on the secondary market IMO.
