What would a lockout have to do with that?

A lockout would probably tune me out more of the NHL.

The NHL is the least popular sport in the US and the NHL has been making strides in a comeback, but its taking a lot of time to get back on track. A lock out would be devastating.

Why in the world would you be praying for a lock out? For what it is worth, I spoke with an Ex-NHL player on the golf course recently and he said that he doesn't expect then NHL to start on time. Too many issues and too little time was basically his opinion.

Every single team is going to puff up their own prospects. I have yet to see a GM come out and say "our prospects suck". It doesn't even matter what the GM/Staff thinks about their prospects behind closed doors, it would just be ridiculous to put your prospects down for numerous reasons. You would hurt their trade value, hurt prospects/players' views of your organization, and just crush your prospects out look on their future.

Well that part is true. He is showing that he really isnt a good GM. He has had many chances to show his so called talents and he hasnt done anything. There is really no more excuses for him, he is just out of his element.

2012-13 Hawks going to look damn close 2011-12 Hawks on paper. Wonder if something will change on the ice.

Did a quick look at the pros/cons of the possible in house solutions for the Blackhawks 2C position.

Anyone see a pattern with the cons? Might be one of the most underrated stats in hockey (in my opinion) and the Blackhawks need to improve big time.

I like Kruger, pair with some offensively competent wingers, and he'll learn how to improve his own game, and mesh with his linemates at the same time.

At this point Id honestly rather have Kane at the wing and Kruger centering that 2nd line

Stalberg-Toews-Sharp
Kane-Kruger-Hossa

meh.

faceoff % is terrible as you noted...still holding out hope for a trade for a 2C...may be holding out for awhile...lol

I like that set-up. Let Stalberg feed off of Tazer and Sharpie's skills and let Kruger feed off of Hoss and Kaner's skill

Kane and Hossa should both be on the right wing. Both work better on their offside and being on their strong side hasn't worked out great in the past.

The one center that I feel is truly available at this point is Paul Stastny. Colorado still has O'Reilly to re-sign (currently a RFA) and Duchene who also plays center. I am sure they would like to shed the cap of Stastny (6.6mil) while building for the future as well.
