but what would they want?

It would be a decent amount but nothing crazy because teams would point to Stastny's cap hit.

Stalberg + Hammer + Prospect/pick maybe? Would have to think that the Blackhawks would want (key word is want) to include Frolik/Montador to make the money going each way about even.

Dylan Olsen
is hopeful that he can earn a roster spot out of training camp. "I've taken in what they told me to work on," he said. "Hopefully I can prove to them I'm ready for that position come September." Olsen, who has been improving his skating and shot over the summer, suited up in 28 games with the Blackhawks last season and he appeared in 44 with the team's AHL affiliate in Rockford. If Chicago can swing trades with either Steve Montador or Niklas Hjalmarsson involved then Olsen's chances of sticking in the NHL would get better.

Sources tell TVA Sports that Jonathan Bernier hasn’t spoken with Kings GM Dean Lombardi since he said he wanted a trade. Bernier has the mindset that he’ll be a member of the of the Kings at training camp. The Blackhawks, Blue Jackets, Maple Leafs and a few Eastern teams are interested.

Do you know how bad ass Bernier would be for the hawks to get? hockey fans that are educated would know that stan went from zero to hero with a move like that. Obtaining him will cost a pretty penny though. take some picks, some specs and frolik....I wouldnt give a ****. this would be an amazing move.

HockeyyInsiderr on twitter has hawks in talks with sabers. Kane for Miller are the two huge pieces other players would be involved.

Don't think Miller is worth Kaner, just don't see it.

Hockeyy Insiderr‏@HockeyyInsiderr

Nothing imminent as of right now, but 2 sources did confirm to me that Miller for Kane discussions are back on. #Sabres #Blackhawks

Only 15th in Goalie Point Shares last year too... pretty much just average.

EDIT: Scratch that, 12th, but still not top of the line.

Again why I'm not a fan of stats like these...

Miller came off a concussion last year after being train wrecked by Lucic. Something very important to note. Miller is a very solid goaltender and would likely thrive on a team like the Blackhawks.

I would do it in a heartbeat. Miller is lights out on the big stage. In Chicago and playing with a team that has a legit shot, i think his game would get back to 2010 Olympics style.

 for a lock out so I don't have to hear the Hawks brass sucking off these so called great "prospects".

so you would pray for a lock out, which could very well negatively impact the sport that you so covet, and hurt it from an exposure perspective?

a lockout could hurt the sport's popularity, which in turn might hurt the sport from an exposure and coverage perspective

as a hockey fan, that probably wouldn't be a good thing

i also don't understand how someone who seems to like hockey so much would want an entire season of it completely skipped

it just makes no sense

We already don't have enough Top 6 forwards... and with the question marks on Hossa and the odds Stalberg keeps it up... I don't want to be left with a Top 6 of Toews, Sharp, an unhealthy Hossa, and three should-be-third-liners.

So you'd rather not play at all? WTF?

 I guess we should just take your scouting report than, i mean brunette is good at board battles, standing in front of the net and stuffz.

I want this to happen, but the concussion thing for:

1) is always scary

2) still didnt impact as much on the GPs side as hawkwriter suggested as the following are his SV% and GP the last few years

06/07 63 GP .911
07/08 76 GP .906
08/09 59 GP .918
09/10 69 GP .929
10/11 66 GP .916
11/12 63 GP .916

High water mark of GP is 07/08 so I think its a little silly to say "oh his concussion is somethingz importantz to notez" when debating a PS when his games played are right around is career norm....but I guess some people dont look at stats, just what they see on the nhl network.
