With the talk of ribs, I recalled an epic breakfast I had made for myself. Yes, the egg is there, it's just "hiding" :)

Yeah, I'm kinda w/ Ommy on this one. I definitely don't like bacon overly crispy / charred, but it does look like this could use a couple more minutes of cook time.

I would maybe try this bacon layered on cheese on bread dish maybe once and a while but I agree that I would not want the bacon to look or have the texture of flabbiness and would prefer to have it cooked properly so it isn't so "sweaty" in appearance, and also would want the cheese to be melty instead of cold and hard. But thus is not a very healthy meal to eat in my opinion and I would rather open a package of smoked salmon lox and just roll that up and eat that then washing it down would be a smoothie with yogurt and kale and sweet potatoes maybe if I feel the need for some carbyness.

Bacon tar tar is not cool. Can we all agree on this?

That bacon was 17 minutes. two more minutes and it would have been black. It had sllight flex but good crispness. I'd say solidly in the middle between soggy and charcoal. You can see that the back piece or two is right on the edge of charcoal.

Type 2 diabetes medication on desk. Half a pound of greasy bacon on sandwich. Brett.....

Thanks for the laugh.

Also, apparently you can pile 6 half strips of bacon on bread and call it epic

Edit: I do love bacon and breakfast foods. I would eat a bacon sandwich.

Outstanding catch! I go tomorrow for my A1C..it's only been two months but I amhoping I qualify for a cortisone shot in my shoulder.

Got one last week, hell of a big needle pushing through inflammation into that bursa sack, shit hurts but that cortisone is magic.

I don't believe in breakfast foods. I eat what I have, or am in the mood to eat. I eat salmon regularly for breakfast, or a sardine salad.

It's actually a corporate scam. Breakfast is not scientifically proven to be "the most important meal of the day." That was just made up, and everyone followed suit. Cereal/donuts/pancakes/waffles were advertised heavily as "staple foods" for breakfast. Other foods, like eggs and bacon, were more of a tradition, and farmers said shit like, "eat eggs in the morning because chicken lay eggs in the morning" or something like that.

I like breakfast food but I don’t like eating breakfast so I’ll have it at other times. Eggs and bacon fine with me. I’m just looking to eat, not get fancy.
