gonna miss his production on the field, but did anyone think he would last more then a few years here?

the Broncos, Dolphins were better after he left.

anyone listening to Marshall more then a few minutes could tell he was full of shit IMO

self-aggrandizing solipsistic ego queen, sounds like a good fit in NYNY

No they aren't. The only one you can possibly even come close to making an argument for is Forte.

There isn't an argument to be made for Marshall over any of them besides Bennett at this point.

He is not a number one receiver and will likely never post a thousand yards in a season again. He was bad last season, and next season he will be older. Forte and Long are both regarded as elite players at their position, while Marshall has clearly fallen outside the top ten for his position. Jeffrey substantially out produced Marshall last season and emerged as the teams number one receiver, in spite of being the better part of a decade younger. Bennett is coming off a top ten season and has improved every year.

This. You don't trade away that kind of production for a 5th rounder without some kind of valid reasoning behind it.

Sad to see Marshall go. He was a beast. He didn't do himself any favors off the field. The new regime wasn't having any part of his shenanigans. Everyone knows that "guy" who is great at his job but rubs people the wrong way. That is Brandon in a nutshell.

I hope Marshall has his absolute best season of his career with the Jets so people's tears will be even saltier. The taste is pretty good but it's just not quite there.
