If we're going to shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July, we can understand that our constitution provides a fair trial to EVERYBODY. Regardless of media perception of her and what she did to her child supposedly. I don't think our justice system is flawed. Prosecution should have done a better job or provided better evidence.

She is still a piece of shit and if she did it, she deserves something awful to happen to her. I just find it shitty so many people can celebrate America just 24 hours ago, yet now our justice system is fucked up?

yeah, another reason i didnt pay much attention to this is because people are dying everyday in Iraq and Afghanistan and the mainstream media cares more about covering this than "real" issues. They love a good sob story, lol, .... I couldnt give a ****.

Yea at first when I heard this I was upset and then the more I thought about it, it's really the states fault. Build a better case, prove your point, and get the person put away. Her lawyers obviously did a good job of putting some reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury. Hope she was paying them well.

The verdict doesn't matter really. Her life is ruined either way. She wont be able to hide, and nobody is going to forgive and forget a trial like this, that didn't deserve 90% of the media attention that it received. We have freaking criminals who kill the innocent in cold blood on a regular basis, and yes, they go out and get tattoos and party too. Guess what, that shit gets totally ignored.

That's understandable but we shouldn't care. Our feeding into what the cable news machine is feeding us is ultimately the reason why she was destined to be found "not guilty" on the felony charges.
