Arlington heights, Englewood and east Rutherford are all about 35-40 minutes from the respective cities. Sorry that you are a simpleton
*Inglewood. And its surrounded on three sides by LA.

From the time you get on the Lincoln Tunnel in Manhattan its seven and a half miles to Metlife. A twelve minute drive, and that includes the tunnel itself.

Chicago Loop to Arlington Racecourse? Thirty miles.

Guess you can't count, spell or look at a map.

Chicago is the next largest market in the country after LA and football obsessed, it's a no-brainer.
Maybe you can remember this in the Lightfoot thread where you continually fail to realize why its dumb for one of the biggest fanbases to have one of the smallest stadiums.

Something something hotdog stands!

Google LA to Inglewood, Chicago to Arlington heights and new York to east Rutherford and let me know the times. Don't care about your opinions. 7 miles in NYC could be a 2 hour drive.

The league has been about TV numbers since the nineties. You tell me what looks better on TV, the endless sprawl of distant Chicagoland or the best skyline in the western world?

lmao do you think people are watching games on TV to see the fucking skyline in the background or that other thing that goes on...whats it called *checks notes* football?

Is this a troll job or did you actually take 20 steps into the dongbears realm? I refuse to believe you're actually making this argument.

This guy went to Bolivia and snorted his way into the Tardverse. It all makes sense now. This entire time I've been watching Vildor play football. Montucky has been watching the off-site camera crews filming deep dish pizza's for Tony Seragusa's spank bank *SKY POINT*

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
A. the McCaskey's would never allow it (nor would any other potential owner)
B. Expanding the number of teams would be an awful idea.

At this point, I think his only salvation in these posts is that he's a top-tier baiting troll. And if he is, he certainly has accomplished that.

Sooo….

I live in DFW where the Dallas Cowboys actually play in Arlington….

And guess what? They still show pictures of the DALLAS skyline!

I’m not lying! Watch a game this year!

That’s probably the USFL’s problem. If they played in New York or Chicago instead of Birmingham ratings would be through the roof.

The Chicago Tribune went beyond lazy. This Sunday cover is a disaster.

So the @JordanSigler of the Jaguars says it's stupid with very little evidence. Yes, Khan has put a lot of money into the stadium but who knows what he will receive from Lightfoot when he is holding her political career for ransom?

As him saying multiple times that the team is not going to move. How many times have front offices or owners lied before, saying one thing and then doing the complete opposite?

Haugh only said that the chances of the Jags moving to Chicago has increased a lot the past 4 weeks. Well, that is obvious. If, going back 4 weeks, the Bears had a zero chance of leaving Chicago, then it would raise the opportunity of another team moving into Chicago to maybe 1% which is a huge increase from zero. Haugh never said that the chance of the Jaguars moving to Chicago was a coin flip call.

As for the Jaguars, this was some years ago, but I seem to recall that the Jaguars have a problem in getting fans to go to the games. It is a Florida fan base which means that most people have other things to do and are fair weather fans at best. Moving to Chicago would add a rabid fan base, some of which would cry into their beers as they move their allegiance to the new team, giving them the actual chance of watching games live inside Soldiers Field. They could even force the city to agree to a new stadium to be built by the city in 7 to 10 years from their move or Khan could build it himself.

Now I am not saying that this is a done deal, far from it, but has a much better chance of it had of happening 4 months ago.

Besides, what kind of lazy reporter talks about all of those reasons online for it not to happen? A real reporter would add some substance into the report, even if it is somewhat weak. Alfie just seems to be lazy.

The floor for being Chicago's second team is basically the ceiling for being the first team in Nashville, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Cincinnati, hell even Indianapolis. There will be a clamor to get into Soldier Field if the Bears vacate it, especially with the city actively pimping the site to anyone in the league willing to listen.

If the Bears move its a matter of when, not if, someone comes in to take their place. Los Angeles gives zero fucks about pro football yet the NFL found two teams to move in there in quick succession. Chicago is the next largest market in the country after LA and football obsessed, it's a no-brainer.
Though New Jersey is basically the outhouse of New York, don't be fooled into thinking that the majority of Giants and Jets fans don't come from New York or the actual top market in the U.S.

Personally, I would want the Chargers to move to Chicago. Think about it. The Chargers have a shit deal in the new stadium, being paying visitors and not co-owners of the new stadium. They would get to play in Solder Field, they would not be the step child in Chicago, Chicagoland area, yes, but not Chicago, they would bring a much better team than the Jags with a better QB and those powder blue uniforms are nice.
