My youngest has epilepsy. Had 4 seizures when he was 15. Put on a medication after the first seizure.. it made him extremely sick and he had another a few days later... more med adjusting... They changed him to a new medication and he hasn't had a seizure since. He played hockey in high school, college, and the AHL. A few concussions. No seizures. Does that mean he'll never have one again? Of course not. He gets a blood test to checks his meds levels every 6mo.

I don't know the type of seizures Fields had, but chances are he'll be just fine if he hasn't had one in a long time. And IF Fields ever does... then they'll adjust his meds.
I would add that there was a history of seizures in his family and they were controlled and eventually went away.

Chances are the Justin has the same type and it should be controlled the same way.

No guarantees, but it is a good risk to take for Justin and the Bears.

Dolphins passed on brees cause of medical reasons. With bears track record it’s kind of scary. But the talent fields brings to the table he’s worth the roll of the dice. Was Chris Williams, Gaines adams, gabe carimi, Quinn etc worth that? Meh

In the mod forum planning your ban
You cried when we traded for him. If you were an advocate for him why would you bitch when we tried going for him?
I forgot I’m on ignore. Can someone @Black Rainbow and ask how can he be an advocate of Fields if he bitched about us trading up for him?

Feels like the epilepsy was the most concerning issue to teams in regards to Fields.

What if he has to retire in 8-10 years due to seizures you cant predict flaring up.
What I understood an announcer/"expert" on draft night said, and I'm paraphrasing, Justin Fields family has a history of epilepsy and a history of out growing it in their mid 20's.

Also, Denver's GM said in that same interview, that with his shitty O line, he was concerned about all the hits Justin was going to take and it effecting his brain in a bad way. What a thing to say about your O line. In essence he was saying, by not drafting Justin he was saving his life.

I feel sorry for Broncos fans
I feel bad for Fangio. Always liked him and feel like he's getting a raw deal. The Broncos have talent, they would be a good team with an actual QB. Also, pretty rough division. Fangio is likely canned after this season. Can you imagine Mahomes, Herbert and Fields all in the same division?

10 years in the NFL as QB will be more than a lot of high picks who never had medical issues

Odd timing to be discussing how stupid other teams are for allowing a player to fall so far in the draft after the Teven Jenkins fiasco. This discussion might make more sense a year or so from now.

True, but a good time for Denver to come up with this excuse.

Hopefully you get to drop this in there before ban...
