True, but a good time for Denver to come up with this excuse.

I took it as though this Yahoo reporter decided to report this now, not that Denver decided to make this announcement now.

I feel sorry for Broncos fans
I don't...........this is a fanbase that since John Elway has been a consistent winner when they have had good quarterback play, something Bear fans can only dream of. Why should you feel sorry for them?

Teams are already manufacturing excuses...hopefully fans don't buy it. Fields has been an high performing player for a while now.

The "risk" is certainly worth the reward. Even if he only gets 3-4 good years on him he would still be cheap on a rookie contract and worth the money
The only way I'd buy it is if Justin dropped on the field. And to knowledge, that has never happened, at any level.

I would add that there was a history of seizures in his family and they were controlled and eventually went away.

Chances are the Justin has the same type and it should be controlled the same way.

No guarantees, but it is a good risk to take for Justin and the Bears.
I feel bad for Fangio. Always liked him and feel like he's getting a raw deal. The Broncos have talent, they would be a good team with an actual QB. Also, pretty rough division. Fangio is likely canned after this season. Can you imagine Mahomes, Herbert and Fields all in the same division?

Rodgers is going there next year…I’m pretty sure

but you are right, unless he challenges for a playoff he probably gets shit canned

I've bitched about trading away draft picks since 2017. Ppl with an agenda have tried to make my complaints about the 2021 trade ups only, instead of the body of work since 2017.

Even though I've set this straight for the millionth time, ppl purposefully try to twist it.

Also, keep in mind I've never had a problem with @PrideisBears for over 3 years on the Bears broad - and not until he had issues with my moderate political stances on B&I...it's like he thinks about me at home or something. I asked him to put me on ignore, he refused, so I hooked him up.

Anyway, some ppl cannot separate the two, and that's their problem, not mine.

All it would take for this draft to be a bad one is have one of the top 2 picks bust which is like a 50% chance.

It would be felt harder because he traded picks for both
Problem is you were constantly doing it, nothing to do with an agenda.

I barely engaged with @Black Rainbow in B&I, you were pretty much @Montucky s sidekick so I rather engage with him.

@Black Rainbow philosophy is if I can’t win an argument or I keep getting called out on my shit, I put you on ignore and he hasn’t done that for one person but DOZENS in his own words. @Chicagosports89 can you ask rainbow for the list of posters he has on ignore, I’m actually curious

If Denver passed on Fields because they MAY have at shot at Rodgers in 2022 than that whole front office should be fired. The Rodgers sweeps will be massive with any team that both wants Rodgers and has both the cap room and picks to sign him.

I'm fairly certain they thought they had a 90% shot at rodgers on draft night. They still had the ability to trade their next two years first round picks even after taking a corner in the first.

Either way, yes, its dumb, but that was the obvious reasoning behind it.

You can thank Aaron Rodgers for being a drama queen and helping the bears to finally get a franchise qb(hopefully).
