Why aren't you happy? They need to shed CAP SPACE.

Sharp > Buff or Versteeg, so one or two of them are gone.

I'm Happy they just shed almost 6 mil in cap space and didn't take ANY back!

No surprise Dudley is involved!

Dustin Byfuglien, one of the breakout players for the Stanley Cup-winning Blackhawks last season, is in the process of being traded to the Thrashers.

Byfuglien, along with Brent Sopel, Ben Eager and Akim Aliu, will be headed to Atlanta in exchange for the 24th overall pick at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, the 54th pick, Marty Reasoner and Jeremy Morin.

In the process? Fax machine out of paper?

Look for Hjalmarsson to sign now that more than enough space is cleared.

I think we made out pretty damn well. Rather see Buff go then versteeg and Sharp, plus Morin is a stud.

I'm not happy about Buff. Would have much rather seen Versteeg go.

You'd rather have Versteeg than Buff? Please step away from the crack pipe.

Very unhappy with this trade. All Buff does is play huge in the playoffs. Can't believe we so willingly gave up someone like that.

yeah, this trade turned out well. too bad buff had to go. morin is a way better prospect than aliu and draft picks always help.

Eager was not under contract so nothing was there to shed. Reasoner coming here is at 1.15 million. Hawks effectively shed 4.15 million.

Willingly gave up? 24th overall in a deep draft, Jeremy Morin who is a stud player in the OHL, 47 goals in 50 something games.

Yeah I'd rather have Versteeg as he plays a two-way game, and has more skill then Buff.

Who do you want to leave next? I should buy their jersey now. I had a Havlat jersey - gone. Got a Byfuglien jersey for my birthday this year - gone...

Come on. He's next. A blind man without the benefit of a seeing eye dog would know that Buff, Eager, Sopel, and Versteeg would not be back.

That's in the 4.15 million. 3+2.3-1.15=4.15

All Buff does is dominate in the playoffs. Yeah, why would we want to keep a guy like that around. Versteeg is a joke compared to Buff. Anyone who would rather have Versteeg over Buff is, well, I'm not gonna say what they are cause I don't want to get in trouble.

You are all leaving out Akim Alui... Which I might add was DUDLEY'S DRAFT PICK!!!

I must say that getting what seems to be a stud prospect in Morin, takes the cake in this deal.
