Yeah, at this point I'm hoping for J-Rich over them all. No trade involved and all we've seen is that the Bulls are at the top of his list because he know he would fit very well into the line-up.

I heard he is waiting to see if any team will offer him 7 mil a year before meeting with us and you know that there is a team out there that will especially with the salary floor rule

..and more than likely they aren't a contender too. So I assume he wouldn't take 7mil to play in, let's just say Minnesota over 5mil to play for the Bulls. If he does..that's just petty. I would understand more if a team offered him 10mil. That's unlikely though.

Yeah, for real. If he takes $7 Million to play for a loser versus $5 Million to play for a title contender, then that shows you where his priorities are.

Bulls are still watching and waiting in free-agency. They want to get Jason Richardson in to visit, but he's likely waiting to see......if any team will offer more than $5 million before listening to Bulls' pitch. Meanwhile, though, other options may get snapped up.

I dunno why I said 7 Mil I must of been thinking of Caron sorry about that.... But I think you are right if its only 1-2 Mil more a year I can see him turning down that offer from a non-contender

But if someone does offer him 10mil a year I can see him taking that.

I just cant believe that he wont even give us a meeting until after he sees if someone will cough up more cash.

I was kind of on the fence between him and Butler but I like the fact that Butler seems more eager to join the team

Ya I guess would sign Caron to the MLE and then S&T for JC but I think the Bulls brass is too scared to spend that much $$

It would have the entire fanbase, not just us big fans, jumpin' for joy with renewed faith in the organization/league.

Reported last week CButler told friend, "I hope I don't have to leave" regarding Chicago. #Bulls have interest but yet to offer midlevel.

Getting both is possible, so it just depends on what is important to Butler. Money or Championships.

They need to wake up and get something done. Other players are talking about signing with other teams but we have nothing.

Yup, they better get agreements done today. That's a must. Otherwise I'm afriad the players we really want will be long gone by midday tomorrow.

Yeah, not so sure about that...considering he doesn't have that kind of pull for us to wait to the end for him. :smoke:

Even if he takes longer than the FO wants they will move on.

Butler and Crawford seems to be the most interested in coming to the Bulls so I think it will be one of them

I prefer Butler though, always been a fan of Caron Butler's game, he is very physical on both sides of the ball, gives a great effort Defensively and on Offense he can score in so many ways (Post Up, Shooting and Driving)

Hope you right. My top 3 FA's for us the whole time have been: Butler, Richardson & Crawford.

The thing is, we can get both.

Crawford in an S&T and Butler for the MLE.
