That would be an awesome pick up. We need a scorer.

I would love Barnes on this squad, but I doubt it happens.

Wonder what they'd give up if they were to trade up for the Bobcats pick

I think this is nothing more than the Bulls doing their due process in looking at prospects. He didn't impress me much in Ames or at UNC. I think he'll get worked in the NBA, but I'd love to be wrong if the Bulls take him.

It would def take our first this year and next year, maybe Asik or Jimmy too?

But if we trade to #2 we should take Beal from Florida.

lol@ barnes...you guys serious?

he doesn't have much of a handle, he's not quick, he's moderately athletic,he plays pretty poor defense, he has a career A to TO ratio of 0.64, and he's not that great a rebounder despite the fact he's reasonably 6'8

one of the big reasons for his good offense at UNC was that he was in roy's run and gun offensive system and had the best passer in the NCAA at PG...in the few games KM was out barnes was horrible..he can barely create his own offense

so you're just getting a good spot up shooter...who actually doesn't shoot well against good competition

and if he has issues with handle and shooting against good college competition..imagine the issues he'll have against premier nba defenders every night

no..i'm not saying he's a terrible player..but he's overrated...he got out of college at the right time because he was getting exposed badly

um, hell yea..beal is a much, much better pick at #2 than barnes...

I love Beal, I know he is projected to get picked high but I still think he is underrated.

the biggest issue with beal is that he's 6'3..but he plays taller than that...athletic, can create his own shot, great rebounder, good defender

i think he's gonna be a real good player in the pros

Beal and Rose in the same backcourt would be nasty

If Bradley Beal is the next Ben Gordon, GarPax can make up for their mistakes. Bring Beal home. Get it done GarPax.

If the Bulls are going to trade up and pick #2, they should take Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. :smug:
