They didn't really take pay cuts considering they don't pay income taxes in FL(but thats really irrelvent they are set for life regardless). I will be mad next year when we don't have a season it is very likley this is true and it is mostly because of how Miami got to the finals so easily. There will be major changes in the CBA because of the big 3. But i am kind of happy that will help small market teams like the Pacers.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens if the payroll is drastically reduced due to a hard cap and you're not permitted to release your highest paid player (like has been rumored)...LBJ and Bosh are paid the same though....maybe they'll be forced to get rid of wade :)

There will be a long lock out small market teams like Indy are losing shit tons. I think Indy lost well over 20m last year.

Thank you.

LeBron gave all the praise and respect in the world to the Bulls in the press conference - even after our power forward cheap shotted him in the head while in mid air.

I'd call that very classy.

I wish we could return that favor and be gracious in defeat without blaming the refs or stooping low enough to write that about LeBron.

Whoever put Lebron James burn in hell up there..really needs to grow up.

I think Lebron is enjoying the villain role. Good for him.

It's not like football where there is one game and there are questions about who the better team is/was. I know without a doubt the Heat were the better team, and I can live with that.

I thought Chicago fans were better then this. How many games did you guys expect to win coming into this season? Maybe 50? You guys won 62 and Rose took your team to the ECF, and I've been on the Bulls Real GM forum as well, and people are calling for his head pretty much.

You guys should be proud that this team fought it's ass off, and played the Heat pretty well this series. The Heat are the best team in the NBA period. Of course they are going to get the calls when they have Lebron and Wade, what do you expect? It's the fricken NBA.

The refs didn't blow a 12 point lead. The Bulls did. Rose was absoutley awful down the stretch, but he cannot do it himself like he did in the regular season. The playoffs is a new ballgame. He is only 22 years old, and he's going to be a special player. Give him a fucking break.

And to everyone saying the refs suck, yes, they were pretty bad, but they did NOT cost you guys the game. Give props to Lebron for hitting at least 3 huge shots down the stretch, and the shot by Wade was ridiculous. And yes, it was a foul.

And for everyone calling for a foul on the last shot, do you really think the refs will call that? A little tap on the arm (if that)? It's the last shot, and he's double covered. The refs will never bail out a player like that at the end of the game, and nor they should.

You guys just had one hell of a season, and the better team won. Get over it, improve, and you guys will be right back at it next season.

I agree, some of the stuff on here is pretty damn sad...and really petty. Good grief. Lebron should burn in hell because he's the best player in the league?.my goodness....

I really hope the Mavs win but wow people...

Drose and LBJ defiantly have different styles as a person one owns up and takes blame the other just praises himself regardless. LBJ is crazy good but i dont like how he talks about himself.

Jay Cutler must have finally burned in hell.

I can see why good free agents don't want to come to Chicago, because if the Bulls had James, fans would put him in hell every game they lost.

He is unselfish on the court...makes his teammates better...he can pat himself on the back if he succeeds in those areas. You know, Westbrook down in OKC says all the right things after games....that should let you know something.....

true, but is it that hard to not have a big ego? It isn't a big deal but thinking about where he came from he should be happy and humble. I dont know just rubs me the wrong way i still love watching him play. If Westbrook in OKC had B ball IQ he would be the MVP next year he is so gifted. He just plays stupid all the talent in the world. I still think he figures out how to be a better pg i mean he is still very young he will learn and be a decent floor general 5 yrs from now. pg is a tough position to learn in the NBA experience is critical if you aren't a natural.

No, he says the right things but he ain't doing the right things on the court...that was my point...

fair enough.

I hate the Rose/Westy comparisons tho...one guy has Deng, the other has Durant...it annoys me. Maybe b/c I want to believe my player is the best...idk...

ya i got ur point but still to early to label him a fail at point guard and move him to SG give him a few years. Steve Nash sucked at point for his first 5 or so years. But OKC has Harden who runs pg role at the SG so they will be fine in my onion just growing pains every young team has them. A veteran team doesnt make the mistakes OKC or CHI made during the playoffs. Dallas is the perfect example very smart team who doesn't make mistakes which is what makes them so good they are so efficient and don't beat themselves.

I didn't watch the game, but I'll take it from what I heard about being up 13 then having a Heat free throw parade while Rose sucked that we just quite simply failed. On the bright side, who else thinks Rose is going to come out next season (whenever that is) with a vengeance? We saw the leap he took coming into this year. Now that he's tasted a beating in the ECF, I think he'll come out better than we've ever thought possible. There's a lot of good things to take from this season. Next season will be better. Who knows? We might beat the Heat. Cheers to a surprisingly successful season considering 7 new players and lack of playoff experience. We have a 22 year old MVP. We have a bright future ahead folks.
