  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
That is the mature way to look at it. I don't like Lebron much either. but I sure as hell wanted him on the Bulls, same with Wade. I disliked Wade because of how he attacked the Bulls organization, but after speculation of him possibly signing with the team, all was forgiven. Now I want to beat them more than ever. It was a bad loss. But I am not going to be irrational about it. I am glad you see things the way you do.

I have mixed feelings about Lebron.

I really don't like Wade, never really did. Though I just became an avid NBA fan in 09, so Wade to me always had that Hollywood attitude.

When the Bears lost to the Packers this year, I nearly alienated some good friends by taking it too seriously. That helped me prepare for this.

Like who?

Wes Matthews for one, look at the FA list and tell me you cant come up with a better team than we have right now particularly in our front court...

Who knows maybe even Joe Johnson would have taken less money if he knew those 3 where aligning in Miami... It could have changed a lot of players consider us that weren't before and cause us to consider players we didnt before... Instead we were kind of scrambling

Sorry but missing out on Wes Matthews isn't really some huge signing. Plus Matthews was a restricted free agent and not in the same boat as the others and he got a HUGE deal from Portland. 5yrs/35mill IIRC. At that point the Bulsl can't afford Korver, Brewer, Boozer etc. Who do we not sign if we sign sign Matthews?

WHo else could we haev gotten for our front court? We got Boozer, we had noah Gibson and everyone's love child Asik? Who else do we put there?

Who knows maybe even Joe Johnson would have taken less money
Wild speculation and who says Johnson didn't? Johnson signed almost immedietly. He didn't even show interest in the Bulls OR Knicks.

Johnson wanted a payday. I thought that was ridiculously obvious

Sorry I meant back court not front court woops.... I heard that Johnson was seriously interested in the Bulls and he is the FA that Rose actually wanted.... Morrow is another player that is better than what we have in the back court just go look at the FA list and tell me you cant come up with a better team than what we ended up with...and honestly tell me that every player would be with the same team they are now if the they didnt drag out their signings so much

Morrow isn't that good of a player IMO and isn't much of an upgrade over a Bogans/Brewer combo. I REALLY think you're reaching complaing over the guys we "could have gotten" and citing Anthony Morrow. Really? This is what it's come to?

And yes I think all the big names end up in the same places. Hell Boozer's first choice was Miami.

Joe Johnson considered joining Bulls? - Scoop Du Jour - NBA

Johnson wanted a pay day. He never really wanted to leave Atlanta and when Atlanta threw that much money at him he chose to stay. If Atlanta was going to offer him a max deal the Bulls had no shot.

No....Johnson would not have taken less money. I got into it with a guy on here months ago saying Johnson could have come here and made up the difference in advertising dollars...really? 50 million? Really? Ain't happening...I don't blame him for staying in Atlanta...he is set for life and then some...

He is a lot better scorer than what we have and what killed us against Miami? Lack of scoring!

You have yet to look through the FA list and tell me you could not have put together a better team that what we did if they would have just came out and done it, and you have yet to honestly tell me that them stretching out the shit for no reason didnt change free agency

Anthony Morrow would not have made the difference in beating Miami this year or next year or any year down the line. He's not that good of a player.

and you have yet to honestly tell me that them stretching out the shit for no reason didnt change free agency

Yes I did.

In the last effing post.

Read.

And no I don't think the Bulls could have put together a better team had they not been waiting around for one of the Big 3. LOL at you saying I haven't looked through the free agent list.

Your thesis revolves around a restricted free agent and Anthony freaking Morrow. This is turning pathetic.

Not what I was talking being wrong about.........

You mean the guy that Bulls fans here didn't want to trade for?

I love how people here are so pissed off about th Big 3 in Miami getting together and how they bought a championship yet no one care Boston did the same thing, NY is trying to do the same thing and want us to start trying to do the same thing by trading for Howard.

When Miami does it=bad

When Chicago does it=good.

I wasnt saying Melo to the Bulls I was just saying that Melo is an example of the players mindset after that happened.

Im not saying that the pairing was bad, I am saying dragging everyone along was bullshit

You are nitpicking...Lebron had all summer to sign with a team if he wanted...its his prerogative...

God forbid Melo wanted out of Denver to come to New York.

You act like this past summer was the first time that teams have brought in other star players.

Dr J is a pussy for needing Moses Malone.

The difference between Miami and Boston, is that the Bulls didn't have a chance of acquiring Garnett and Allen, like the Bulls did with James and Bosh.

Fans don't care about New York now because they aren't winning.

Bulls fans didn't care about the Heat as long as the Bulls were winning.

You're not going to win this fight here. It makes you appear like a Heat fan.

But they had it planned from day one ... why lead an organization on?
Prove it.

There was an alleged dinner that Riley had with James during the season when the Cavs played at Miami this is the same game in which LeBron announced he would change his number from #23 to #6)
